I doubt they would come that far.

Most people know who I am and where I live. It would not be out of the realm of possibility to want to get to me except for two things. There would be no motive and I am armed.

Well, now I wouldn´t like to put anybody´s life at risk. But, it really makes me wonder about the power of these people. Can Garrison or Cox contact people out of prison and send them to threaten or hurt others? Have they done this before? It´s crazy.

@Missouri Mule I like the way you think. Though I do not wish to reveal my identity I am also prepared to defend myself. Because of how long this crime has been kept a secret part of me does fear what could happen if I stick my nose too far where it doesn't belong. However, I feel as though I have no choice when it comes to this case. If I want to find out what happened that night, and I very much do, then I have to be willing to face those consequences. Besides. The capability of man scares me more than death. Take this case for example.

Can people outside of the USA write to the inmates?
If anyone wants to contact them, but he/she is too scared to provide his/her real identity or address, I can do it for you. I don´t see them traveling or sending friends to South America, much less to my neighborhood (It´s dangerous. A foreigner would be dead before setting their foot in my street).

Most prisons use a communication service like jpay or connectnetwork or possibly something else. Someone could also tell you what to write and you could mail it for them. That doesn't just apply to you. The actual mail might be weird with the coronavirus thing. Prisons and jails have people in close quarters - they don't want them sick. If the inmate is available on an email service you should be able to contact them.
I don't know if the inmates need more stamps if they have have to mail their letters out and it's a different country. If someone wants a letter mailed I'm willing to help too.

The guilty party(s) is/are on this site. I truly believe, watching with some sicko satisfaction & have been, for years. Keep laughing, while you can or...... Maybe you're sweating, cause you are only human & you worry, that time is running out on your secret. Do you know God? There is life after this one ends. I know more than one person, who has seen the other side & were sent back. It wasn't time. Do you fear, your time left, at all? You're reading this, so perhaps, you do? There's 2 roads, you can take. Just knowing, that you're reading this, brings just a bit of hope, in my mind. God is real & will be your ultimate judge & jury. You still have time.

Indeed. Also, if the person is on this website, just think about. You may spend life in prison, but your name will be added to the list of criminals remembered by History. Think of how many people were unsuccessful at keeping a secret for one day, let alone 27 years, 8 months and 28 days. Not that I'm glorifying this crime in the least, I wish that I didn't know anything about it because it didn't happen. But it did. The bottom line is, it's hard to make three people vanish without a trace for so long. Life as you know it will end, but your "legacy" will continue through those who will never meet you. "The Springfield Three" are known to me because of the choices of someone else. These women are famous for reasons no one wants to be. I didn't even exist when these women vanished, but because of technology, and people who care about this case, 28 years later, here we all are. Some of you live outside of the states and know about this case. I'm saddened deeply about this crime and think about it way too often, but I'm glad their memories are kept alive not only by their families and friends but by those of us who want to see justice for them. While I doubt they will, It is indeed not too late to do the right thing. Think of the relief that would come with revealing a secret of this magnitude. Maybe you'll sleep better at night.

Also, Janis is such a cute little old lady on FB. Lol. I'm glad to see she's smiling and has grandchildren. I can't even imagine the pain felt by those related to this case. To not have any answers.

An obligation exists to protect sources AND my credibility with those sources - but not to you. It's suspicious to me that you're continuing to use a poster's credibility as an excuse to malign and extort names.

BTW - It's common knowledge that many forum(s) members work with outside sources.

It's suspicious to me that you are turning a credibility check into a demand for names and identities. I have at no time demanded any names, i've demanded accountability since that member has continually referred to something that he refuses to share. It's entirely in his rights to refuse to share that but it's also against this sites rules to hoard sources. By now you should realize i barely ever visit this site, once a week at most probably less now because of Covid-19.

If you insist we can ask the mods here about sources.

I wonder if Gary Hall has ever been on this website. I highly doubt he didn't know his brother Larry was a serial killer. Larry says his brother helped with numerous crimes, could just be a killer trying to get his brother in trouble, but I wonder if there is a connection between the Halls and a certain Springfield resident. Does anyone who currently reside in Springfield use this site? If so, I would love to ask questions about a successful local.

What are everyone's favorite theories to cross off the list as being highly unlikely or already proven untrue?

Example mine: buried at Cox.
I'll try this one again, for the benefit of those just coming to the subject at hand and who could perhaps benefit from the experience of the 3MW case followers in evidence here:

Can people who are in prison use cellphones or computers to make phone calls or surf on the web?

  • #1,412
I think cellphones are considered contraband at the majority of correctional institutions. In fact a cellphone can cost a great deal of money inside the walls as drug dealers and assorted other do badders can continue to communicate with their cohorts on the streets without censorship from the authorities. Technology exists to jam the cellphone signal but I haven't heard of many places using it. I think there is some form of email service available for families to send letters to those folks inside. Not sure what it is called or how much it costs. In the oldin' :rolleyes:days we would get a court order to read mail coming into and going out of the institution. Much easier than now.

I would like to reinforce Missouri Mules caution on contacting these guys. They have nothing but time to think of ways to, as they call it, "put you in a trick" meaning get you to do something for them which may or may not be legal. When I worked as an investigator we had an inmate convince a education employee (educated to the Ph.d level) that his life was in danger and he needed just a bit of weed to keep the killers from doing him in. An informant tipped us off and when we searched her at the turn key she was crying because if she didn't get the (by this time) methamphetamine to the inmate he would be murdered. No matter how much we explained she could not be convinced that the inmate had lied to her. Very sad as she lost her career in education and was working at a Dollar Store last I heard.

I have heard such. But, no personally involved knowledge. Pretty sure they have online prisoner romance sites.

Shows how little, I know. I thought they read everything, coming & going.

That a law enforcement officer or someone, disguised as such, did this. Oh yeah & the lone perpetrator theory. No way one person pulled this off.

I have read in a few places about a Craig Wood (currently on death row for a Springfield rape and murder) that some have linked to the disappearance of Suzie, Stacy, and Sherrill.

I can't find any info to support or dismiss this. Anyone know anything about him?

from the Wikipedia Murder of Hailey Owens page:

At about 5:00 p.m. on February 18, 2014, Hailey was walking home from a friend's house when a man in a truck pulled over, called to her and asked for directions. As she approached him, he grabbed her, threw her into his truck and sped away.

Hailey's body was found in Craig Michael Wood's home in Springfield.

Wood (born March 25, 1968) once worked in Springfield as a paraprofessional worker and worked for 16 years as a school football coach at Pleasant View Middle School. He also worked there supervising suspensions and as a teacher's aide and substitute teacher.

Police found over a dozen firearms in his home as well as child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. While searching a bedroom dresser in Wood's home, they discovered stories about sexual fantasies. Two of these handwritten stories involved girls aged 13. Also found were four pictures of young, female students who attended the school where Wood had been employed.

Wood had a criminal record. In 1990, he pleaded guilty and was fined $100 after being found in possession of a controlled substance. In 2001, he was convicted of the misdemeanor of taking wildlife illegally.

Thank you for that. Actually, I meant anything on his possible role in the abduction of the three missing women...

I mentioned him before but it was dismissed. I don't remember why since many of my theories are dismissed-lol.
