Human remains were found in the Busch Wildlife area in St. Charles County Tuesday evening.

The St. Charles County Police Department is reportedly investigating after the remains were found near the Lost Valley Hiking Trail off Highway 94.

Details of Disappearance
Waters was last seen in St. Charles, Missouri on January 15, 2019. He left his home on Broadmoor Lane at 11:00 a.m., leaving behind his phone, car keys and a goodbye note for his family. He has never been heard from again. He had made suicidal comments in the year prior to his disappearance. His case remains unsolved.

I joined this forum because of this case, wrote a long reply, then found that it violated the terms- due to its specificity, no doubt. So I will try again:
These remains are NOT unidentified, and identity has been confirmed via familial DNA. They are not those of the man you mentioned, but are those of my cousin. I don't know which information prevented my posting my reply previously, and I know how dissatisfying it is, not to have provided identifying details.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin, Erin. My condolences to your family and to all who knew and loved him. If I have the correct poster, he looks like such a sweet guy and those dimples are adorable. Depression is a hideous beast and there but for the grace of God go I.
