Well, there are lots of drug runners that go up to KC from Texas. I know of someone who did that to earn money so they could avoid paying child support through a traditional job. That person was a real winner. <\sarcasm>

Anyway, there's quite a lot of involvement with the drug industry in KC and since Toni clearly was a drug user and knew people who were involved in selling drugs (including her own admission of selling drugs on her Tumblr) I would say her chances of being involved with the police in order to avoid a conviction are higher than someone who has never been pulled over with MDMA in their car before. Or whatever drug it was that she said she had...

I dont have time right now so if someone is inclined to look up and post LE's comments/statements from the beginning that would be great! Theres not much.

O come on now. Don't think you think is a little 'out there'. I have never heard of this happening, especially at 4am in the morning. She is a 20 year old stripper. Why would the police want to work with her or why would she want to work with police? In addition, she was pulled over by the NKC police, not the CIA/FBI, etc. This is a local jurisdiction.

I agree it's out there. I really don't know how LE operates with an informant. It has seemed unusual the parents just left Kansas City and didn't tell others why they were leaving. No searching and the parents are back working so soon. They have ten thousand from that GoFundMe and it's still open for donations. They didn't do anything with trying to search and a car accident would have been my first thought as a parent. Supposedly that last ping from the area of Parkville was given out quickly. Nobody started searching right away, odd.
Just yesterday I was posting here about a car wreck. At that time I didn't know how extensively LE had searched the area. There's a large area right by English Landing for hiking, has a waterfall, cliffs and lots of wooded area and wild life, perfect place to get rid of a body and possibly the car. I would assume they searched there. I was just trying to think through all we know and what was just reported. Maybe I just need to slow down and think it all through better.
Yesterday I said if I were Pete Jr. I would still be searching for Toni and her car in the Parkville area. Are they still searching?
When you put together what was in the recent article it just doesn't add up but let's see what we come up with, maybe something will click.

New article reveals more information. I think LE are reading my posts here on Websleuths, especially with the Parkville MO-9 route theory (MOO).

http://www.kansascity.com/news/local/crime/article136092253.html

IMO - cops are extremely doubtful on the human trafficking theory.

Wow, that article has actually quite a bit of new information. Sure does sound like someone thinks she was skipping town. I quickly skimmed through it and haven't read comments here yet but this sticks out:

"Investigators know that Anderson was driving in an unfamiliar area."

They are still saying she was supposed to meet up at another club. But they *know* she was in an unfamiliar area. How? Also a mention of a rural, desolate roadway...Is that just the reporter setting the scene?

Off to read some more...

What evidence exists that she was in control of her disappearance? I've seen nothing to support that. They are suggesting she was abducted by aliens over being a victim of foul play. They do this without offering a clear picture of her movements immediately after 449. It doesn't take over an hour to drive 8 miles.

Well, unless she made a stop along the way to meet some people, then who know who was driving her car afterwards ?

This newest article just makes no sense in so many ways.
If police know she was driving in unfamiliar territory and feel it could be some desolate place then take the dang equipment there! How do they know this?
So now it says she told the officer she was headed to the shady lady.
Why wouldn't a young lady just say I'm headed home?? No, she tells the officer she's headed to a strip club. Just so weird!

"While not ruling out foul play, Kansas City police think that around 6 a.m. Jan. 15, Toni Anderson likely wrecked her black 2014 Ford Focus on some rural, desolate roadway."

How on earth do they know specifically around 6am? If they can track her to a time they can track the car. I literally hate this article.

Not only that, but if this is the source of the fact that she was going to the Shady Lady, then it has zero credibility. It could have been a cover for whatever she was really doing.

That has been a question of mine since the beginning. Did she tell any of her friends that she was headed to the Shady Lady, or not? Apparently at least one of her friends says that Toni had no plans to go to the Shady Lady.

This article isn't accurate. We've just got more information that isn't the truth. I bet Liz Anderson gave this reporter most of this information. For one thing Toni was a stripper, a gal that worked with her at the OutHouse confirmed this. Possibly the reporter just added to make the article something interesting.
Someone needs to call the person who wrote the article and question them on what is actually fact.

I jumped on this without thinking about what was written and whether it even was the truth.

Did they literally just say where they hid her car? Subliminal much?
Did they basically just say you're never going to find her, like in a movie, some dark eery rural desolate roadway that sounds impossible to find! Geez, what a dismal description.
I know this sounds crazy, lol, I'm mad at this article!

Yeah, I'm feeling a little foolish for jumping on what I thought it said.

This article changes nothing. It seems to more or less confirm the information that the last ping was in Parkville at 5:56.

New information: left QuikTrip at 4:49. At least we have that.

The article claims her debit card was declined at the pump, but is this true? I am 100% convinced she turned onto W 26 to use the Commerce Bank ATM. Did she use it? Was it successful?

CRIME WATCH DAILY has finally published its schedule for next week.
--

On the Thursday, March 9, episode:
Kansas City, Mo.: a college student who goes missing after being pulled over sends an ominous last text; West Palm Beach, Fla.: news on possible murder-for-hire 'attemptress' Dalia Dippolito before her third trial.

Still seems like she leaves QT at 4:49, goes to meet someone, something gets out of hand and phone is disabled at 5:56. Maybe somebody too rich or powerful to take a fall?

Article seems like LE is convinced she was in a relatively small area for an hour, and everybody in her life has been cleared. But, as mentioned, the reporter may be to blame for that impression.

New info from this article:
Text from mother to Tori with Toni agreeing to stay home.
Police are confirming their #1 theory is an accident.
They are not ruling out foul play.
Anderson tried to pay for gas at the pump, but her debit card was declined. She went inside to pay, came out and filled up her gas tank. All of this was captured on the store’s video surveillance camera.
Toni was still at the QT tie 4:49am
Police believe Toni was in the Parkville area until 6am
Toni used the device for auto insurance purposes after she received a number of traffic citations. (to lower her premium)
Police search extensively around the Shady Lady
Toni told the Police Officer she was going to the Shady Lady during the traffic stop. (the 3 minute traffic stop)
Toni's job was not known to her mother.

Agreed. She's not aimlessly driving around.

I wonder how much gas she bought. Not sure it matters, but would be nice to know. Did she plan on driving far so she filled the tank or just enough to get to her destination?

That's another odd detail, by the way. If you promise your Mom you're going to stay home, you don't use an ATM card at 4:33 in the morning that will show up on family banking records.

This may have been before the calls from Chrome to come in to work. And she certainly couldn't tell her mom she was going out to work at the strip club. :/

 • #779
So where was she going and what did she do for that hour and a half before alleged accident??

The mother chooses some weird words it's like shes very old fashioned, I think she needs to admit her daughter was a stripper.
It seems like she trying too hard to convince the reader Toni had a "dream childhood", that would normally be a child's description not a parent's wouldn't it.
If Toni has being in a wreak, I would have worked out all her possible/most likely routes and checked every roadside for tyre tracks leaving the road it might be too late now but it's what I would of being doing since day one if this was my child.
