The officer that pulled her over has been vetted, actions accounted for during the time after the stop.

Simple way to prove this... show the dashcam. I want to hear them answer the question as to whether there was any gaps in dashcam footage for that officer. Using the word "vetted" has me kind of curious about that. Why do you need to scrutinize if you have the actual dash cam footage?

odd phrasing imo

They are still waiting for Toni's cloud information, think it will be key in finding information.

I thought they already had this? Every time someone involved with investigation says something, something changes it seems.

Pete was close enough to Toni to be able to access her Facebook account as soon as she went missing.

Still smacks of Jodi and Travis. Every young person I know is extremely protective of their phones and SM security. (My niece constantly drills this into the heads of her high school students - that once your stuff gets compromised and set free online, you can't get the genie back in the bottle.)

...and the bit about her not packing and showing no signs of leaving is compelling. As someone else mentioned - she wouldn't leave her beauty products, even if she didn't pack a suitcase.

If she did leave on her own it would be obvious she doesn't want anyone to find her right now. It would have been planned and she would have hidden any signs she was leaving. If this is what she has done, she did a darn good job of it. What LE had to say sounds lame too me.

I don't think that's what has happened, why would she hang around till six in the Parkville area before traveling?

Pete was close enough to Toni to be able to access her Facebook account as soon as she went missing. Perhaps her other accounts as well. Whether he was always privy to the time & location of her drug transactions is another matter.

Since LE was committing time and resources to thoroughly search a radius around the Parkville cell tower, they knew the ping did occur. Since nothing was found during their searches, they theorized she went missing farther north into rural Platte County, beyond the radius of the ping, to a "rural and desolate" spot where her presence would be beyond their ability to detect.

Yes but I don't understand their theory unless they have more than the ping. Why did Toni hang around Parkville for an hour and why do they think she traveled North? She could have gone in any direction after the phone died.

Nobody has mentioned she may have driven to Lawrence. We found out she worked at the OutHouse in Lawrence and worked there much more than she worked at Chrome. I thought about she may have gone to Lawrence since she was driving that direction a lot.

Hope this isn't her.

I was going to quit posting about Toni but ya know I started feeling guilty for not thinking about her and talking about her. I've gotten so involved in thinking through what has happened to Toni it's almost an obsession to not let this go.
Gosh I wish something would happen to bring Toni home and end this nightmare for her parents and those who love Toni.

Seems like she'd have gone south rather than north, if she was heading to the Outhouse in KS. right? I'd imagine she'd take 70 or 32.

very easy to get to 70 from parkville

Not saying it's not, just saying why go north when you can get to 70 easier by going south? She starts out at chrome and goes way north. I don't think she was going north to get to 70. thats my point...

She was supposedly going to either Shady Lady or the Mild to Wild Body Shop, not the Outhouse. Regardless, LE's presumption is she disappeared somewhere sparsely populated, so as to support their theory that she wrecked her car in a spot not yet discovered.

I understand the supposed destinations. I was commenting in response to someone else theorizing that she might have headed to The Outhouse. My comment was that it wasn't likely because she headed north.

I also understand LE's presumption.

I have to say that I continue to see this as a likely CI/snitch situation. LE has not given any reason she had to remove her gps and go to a sparsely populated area at 5am.

The reasons that one might do that, are the reasons that I suspect foul play was involved. So LE can talk about accidents etc, and I wouldn't rule that out, however enough bodies have been found in the past month or so in these secluded areas to tell me that foul play ain't exactly a low probability when it comes to people who you believe have gone to a sparsely populated area and then disappeared.

Watched the CrimeWatch Daily, very disappointed. I found out Toni was suppose to meet a co-worker from Chrome but did not show up. that was the last text to her, from him. I couldn't remember if they said the co-worker was a he but I know they said the last text was from a man. He cooperated with L.E. The Police Officer that stopped her watched her pump gas and also stayed until she left and followed her to the first stop light but then turned the opposite direction that Toni turned. Parents said Toni was living a double life. They had no idea she was a server at Chrome or living with Pete Jr. Nothing was said about her work at the OutHouse. Possibly they don't know she worked there. It was said her phone died but they did not give the time. Very sketchy interview.

Forgot detective Caldwell said, two people they interviewed were hiding something.

It was emphasized Toni was a server at Chrome. PeteJr. was the one who called Police the morning she did not show up. They did not give the time he called.

After watching this interview I now question Pete Jr's involvement and Toni's meeting a co-worker, was it an affair?

I am not saying she intended to go to Lawrence that night.. But if that car is not in an accident in a ditch somewhere... someone has evidence to destroy, or hide forever.

The civilian searches didn't even search the area she was last seen until a week later. Which is puzzling to me. Why wouldn't you search that area FIRST. So that's what in some ways makes me suspicious of the police in that they should have been pointing civilian searches there or in parkville -- not that supposedly we are saying they likely knew from the very beginning she pinged there?!?! (still not sure if thats true)

But if it's true, just think about that. Law enforcement seemed to think wasting time all over the map was helping something?

I don't get it.

Just about everyone in this case is being deceptive, including Law Enforcement imo

BBM--YES!! I Totally AGREE with this also.

I don't know about a link, but I know it usually re-airs in the middle of the night.
