It's SO easy to drive into the Missouri River in the more rural areas. Like I said before, there's a spot out near Lexington where a school bus was driven into the river and is partially sticking up out of water when the river is low. It floods quite a bit in some areas.

So it's somewhat likely this isn't related to Toni at all. How stressful for her family. I assume they are standing around outside in that crowd.

Well, they better get moving... it's going to be dark sooner rather than later.

A comment stated "I think delay is because of having trouble getting a secure connection to the car due to embedded sand and debris around it."

If that is the case then it may not be her car... I don't know how quickly a car would be embedded in a river like this.

I think they are deliberately dragging this out.........they want the cover of darkness.

They already know if it's Toni's car or not, simply by the license plate number. The fact they are literally standing around with their hands in their pockets tells me they are stalling on purpose.

Question: Would they handle scene differently if there were obvious signs of foul play, as opposed to a driver still strapped in seat?

They may be waiting out that second chopper too. He's going to have to refuel sooner or later.

All the divers are out of the water now...........so..............??

What are they debating for so long and that theres an awful lot of them for pulling two empty cars.
I think there delaying the second pull because they've ID'd the car or can see someone in the car and are waiting for ME/FBI to turn up.

Lights are set up. They're definitely planning on waiting until it's dark. This doesn't bode well in my opinion.

Could that ambulance be the medical examiner? Are those guys in suits?
