MO - Two men arrested for destroying fossilized mammoth tusk at museum (11 March 2026)

Both men are in their late 40s, and the mammoth tusk was assessed at $200,000. They wanted to be photographed hanging from it, which makes me think alcohol was involved.

With all the horrible crimes we discuss here, we might as well have an oddball story once in a while.

Yeah, gonna guess alcohol related stupidity. What a shame. they destroyed an artifact. What kind of alleged adult goes to a museum and tried to hang off of a mammoth display? What kind of moron does this? These were frat boys, they were in their 40s. Very sad to see such behavior.
