Walter E. Culp, Jr.

Culp was last seen in Hillsboro, Missouri on July 16, 2009. He was boating with his boss in an 18 foot utility boat when the outboard motor malfunctioned. The two men were attempting to get to shore by using the boat's trolling motor when a thunderstorm suddenly appeared. Culp fell overboard face-first from a possible lightning strike, and disappeared.
Despite extensive searches conducted, Culp was never located. Although his wife stated he is a strong swimmer, he is presumed to have drowned. Culp's boss is not considered a suspect in his disappearance.
