Family, police searching for missing 75-year-old
ST. LOUIS A missing elderly man with onset dementia has not been seen for over a day, and police are hoping the community can help locate his whereabouts.
Walter Smith, 75, was last seen at 2380 Grand River Boulevard in north St. Louis which, according to Google Maps, is home to the River Roads Senior Apartments at around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Smith has onset of Stage 1 Dementia and does not have a cell phone, bus pass or cash in his possession.
Smith was described as 6-foot-1 and 210-pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants when a family member visited him the day before.
Anyone with information is asked to contact 911, or the St. Louis County Police Department at (636) 529-8210.
