From his Facebook, some comments lead me to believe he worked for the railroad at one point. (not sure if we are allowed to mention what is seen on his FB page ?). Also, his page says he is from Patoka, Illinois.
yes, we are allowed.

Thankfully someone opened their door to help. Not only does it sound like Castro, from the updates it also sounds like David Parker Ray.

I am wondering if the animal control issue was from her letting his dog out, if so , she didn't know how important that was....

The latex explains why some witnesses thought she was wearing a trash bag. But calling it a "BDSM situation gone bad" is like saying someone tied to weights and thrown off a boat is a "diving situation gone bad". Unless all participants are willing and able to give consent, it's not BDSM. Is it possible that he took part in BDSM in the past? Latex lingerie and whips are pretty common in that community, so yes, it's a possibility. But we have no way of knowing either way just yet. BDSM relationships can also become abusive, but it doesn't sound like this is what happened here.
i feel like a trash bag is baggy though. once i read about the latex lingerie, i thought maybe she had a trash bag over it. ugh

Latest update from KSHB 41 (NBC affiliate) says she had been held captive since early September, and that she is 22 rather than 23 as I said earlier (sorry)

Also says she was wearing a trash bag when she escaped.

That’s considered lingerie?

This article mentions the woman was picked up on Prospect Avenue, in Kansas City. I'm not at all familiar with that part of the country. Anyone know more about Prospect Avenue? I'm curious if it's a busy area, or high crime, or a nice neighborhood, etc...?

According to this article that denies there being a serial killer: "A TikTok/YouTube post from The Kansas City Defender said there are four women murdered and three others missing from the area around 85th Street and Prospect Avenue."

Do you know if anyone has named the 3 that are missing? If so, are the initials of one of them T. J. like the initials of the victim in this case?

Prospect Ave. in Kansas City runs through a very high crime, low income area. Drugs galore. Street prostitution is also in abundance.

Perfect playground if someone was a monster. IMO

That’s what I was thinking…picking women he didn’t think would be noticed missing.

Haslett spoke openly with the judge — to the point that the judge reminded him he has the right to remain silent and that prosecutors were writing down everything he said.

In court, Haslett also mentioned that he has a girlfriend. It’s still unclear if that woman, his child or any other people were going into the home where police say this kidnapping was ongoing.

So he just carried on like life was normal while there was a terrorized woman tied up, gagged, wearing garbage bag lingerie in his basement. He’s in a class all of his own. IMO.
