I wish we knew more, how long since someone has had contact with her? Is she another possible victim?

Wait a second, could this be the woman who escaped from the house and she's not MIA?

Doubtful, the ages are way off. She possibly reported him for something previously and was ignored. Or she was with the victim when she was picked up. Speculation, moo, imho, yada yada.

Haslett indicted on 9 felonies. They are still looking for the potential witness, Jaynie Crosdale.

Wow @ Clay County Prosecuting Attorney Zachary Thompson stated the maximum sentences if found guilty would be five life terms (per quoted post. Link also found below).

I sure hope they find Jaynie with whatever info she may have! But it does make me wonder if she's on the run and not wanting to come forth. Hmmm...

Or that's not her real name?

BBM:
I wonder if this potential witness is deceased, possibly at the hands of suspect?

A missing person's thread opened up yesterday which I thought I'd link here as a FYI that another woman was reported missing who was known to be in Excelsior Springs. I find it a tad concerning due to Timothy Haslett Jr. being from Excelsior Springs:

She has been known to be in the Raytown and Excelsior Springs area as well, according to Independence police.

Abby's thread: MO - MO - Krystal "Abby" Pinell, 26, not reported missing for over 2 years, Independence, Nov 2020

I hope LE has asked Haslett about her, although even if he was involved in her disappearance, I highly doubt he would admit to anything.

Could anyone briefly sum up what the article says please? It's not accessible in Europe. Thank you
Haslett < > housed in Clay County Detention Center in Liberty, were temporarily relocated in May to Johnson County Detention Center in Johnson County, Missouri due to updates being done on the Liberty jail.

Upgrades on the jail will be complete in July. I'm not sure where the attorney thinks LEO can hold the prisoner during the temp arrangements; however, it is a worthy motion to be near one's client.

Per Google Maps, less than an hour & a half drive to the temporary placement:

Wonder if they have considered video? In the county where I live, there is secure video in the jail & in the Courthouse....

jmho ymmv lrr

A woman investigators have been looking for as part of an ongoing Excelsior Springs rape and kidnapping case has been found dead.

The Clay County Prosecutor’s Office was notified Sunday that the remains of Jaynie Crosdale have been located in Saline County, Missouri.
