And it sounds like all she did was get on the bus and demand to know who the bullies were. Maybe the article left something out since she was charged with assault??

Poor parents. its frustrating when you can't do anything about some bratty self righteous child who insists on picking on your own. I have a six year old, and I worry about him all the time! In fact, he's already told me that one boy kicks his legs on the bus... but now they have assigned seating.

Good for the mother, I say. I do not know if the article left anything out or not, but there is not much you can do anymore except confront. Nobody else bothers to do anything...
