SM attorney discussing background of case. Saying he voluntarily met with the police in the beginning. And he was focused in on too quickly. Basically he's saying the cops got tunnel vision. This is their defense?!?!?

Is it too soon to start rolling my eyes?

So during one of the first interviews with SM he stated he knew his whereabouts during when HE was abducted because he was having relations with his wife around town. So that's where that came from

Kirk Truslow just stated that they found NO EVIDENCE in the search of the home. HUH?

  • #54
Ahhhh, the "relations" alibi.

  • #55
Truslow says no evidence that the incidents of indecent exposure occurred other than Sidney saying they happened.

Attorney using the "rush to judgement" excuse.

Gee...now where have I heard that before, like at least 100 times in other cases?

Arguing against obstruction of justice for SM because while SM lied he then told the truth almost right away so that shouldn't count

Not to mention, he only lied because he and Tammy were being interviewed together and who could blame him for not wanting to admit that in front of his wife?

"My client has never been arrested for anything like this before" duhhh.

Attorney is using the fact that SM never even hinted that his wife was missing/out as a way of shifting blame as somehow a good upstanding citizen thing.

According to attorney: no physical evidence, no direct evidence.

(um, what about the video of the truck?)

No physical or direct evidence against SM?!? Maybe circumstantial evidence. -def attorney
