If they are dropped that is not double jeopardy. If they get a directed verdict it is. There is a difference. The prosecutor should make sure he has enough of drop the charges for now.

If the charges WERE dismissed, the issue is whether they were dismissed with prejudice or without. If the former, they cannot be brought again without production of new evidence not available when the charges were first brought.

If the charges were not dismissed with prejudice; merely dropped, they could be brought again

Maybe, maybe not. They could have a very strong circumstantial case for all we know. At any rate, they have a few more months before trial to tie any loose ends. All we can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

It won't be long. Valentine's Day is coming up, I remember TM's social media party last year, the chocolates, the liquor and the whip and handcuffs. I wish I had a screen shot of that photo. Little did we know how the handcuffs were being used.

Truslow pointed out that the FBI did not do the enhancements on the black truck seen proceeding to and returning from PTL and that the agency who worked on it was not qualified to determine that the truck was actually the Moorer's vehicle. Why didn't local LE have the FBI assist with the enhancements? Maybe the prosecution will ask them now.

The state has a case or it doesn't. If these two walk, we can't blame it on the judge or a good ol boys factor or pontificating in a bond hearing.

No, lol. In the beginning there was at least one poster that I remember that thought they were innocent. A woman who knew TM from the Disney stuff....A FB friend I believe, in another state. Or was that on a Facebook group about this case?

even if (god forbid) murder and kidnapping are dropped, aren't they still on the hook for Medicaid fraud? Not as serious charge, but prison time at least......

I cant see this couple innocent!
but I do see ONE guilty and thats TM I Feel SM helped cover up the crime.

I guess but U would think it would have been started yesterday and they used the house for her and it was supposed to be for him also!
