Most detailed interview with local media

IMO they stopped communicating with the local media the moment sister Ashley came to "help". Then the rest of the circus came to town (BS & JT) and things just got weird. I think their very worst mistake was not getting rid of JT instead of CS.

I so agree with that. I just don't understand why they would get rid of her.

JMO but I think the family got starstruck and went for the $$$.

After hearing this interview, I don't think the boys slept in DB and JI's bed at all that night. JI clearly states he "checked on the boys, then on her (Lisa)..."

DB does not say in this interview that the boys slept with her, or a kitten was in the bed.

Maybe it was Lisa who was sleeping with her, rather than either of the boys.

I also feel that JI is up to this up to his eyeballs for this reason alone he is also the parent of another child and if he was not involved than I don't think he would dare risk having his other child around the parent that he felt was responsible for his daughters disaperance why would you even want to take that risk with another child it is always easier to beg for forgiveness if you are wrong but who could blame him for protecting the only other child you have...and we have not seen them split so again I think he is knee deep in this crime.

Well, he did say that he and DB are now spending "every waking moment" together...

The baby did not disappear in a vacuum. The caretaker drank enough to pass out while on a strong mind altering drug called Effexor.

From where did we learn that she is taking Effexor?

Would love to see a video of Jeremy before all this transpired. Is it normal for him to avoid eye contact and to be so distant emotionally?

I was hoping to see some video of him playing with Lisa.

From what I have been told by people that knew him well it is.

Probably because she went went full attention <Mod Snip> and started doing some spectacularly ridiculous things.

Yes, like pointing out that the carpet was not removed from Bradley's bedroom although the search warrant noted a cadaver dog "hit" on it.

Spectacularly ridiculous to note that.

??

Hmm. How about, spectacularly observant?

BTW, I'm surprised that <Mod Snip> doesn't get bleeped on this site.

Starstruck? Do they look starstruck to you?

They look sick to death to me. They look like they would mortgage their souls to have their baby back.

Perhaps, though some might point out that it is not exactly the job of a defense attorney to be conducting tours of the home so she can grab some face time on camera. In any case, her observational prowess apparently did not extend all the way to reading the search warrant she was calling into question.

I would imagine, on a site in which the graphic details of such horrors as child murder are discussed, the assumption is that the members are mature enough to handle the slang term for a sex-industry worker.

That's probably true... they probably would do just that to have Lisa home again. I suspect, however, that at least one of them has no soul left to trade.

From what I have been told by people that knew him well it is.

The guy seems pretty straight forward. He is clearly fighting hard to keep his emotions under control in this video. His body language towards Deborah is interesting. Remember, he knows that Deborah is not exactly telling the truth about what happened. He knows she was blasted, he knows Deborah isn't the loving mommy she is pretending to be here, he knows Deborah tossed the kid in the crip and started partying the second he was out the door.

He knows he went running to the neighbors home looking for his daughter because he thought it was actually possible that his wasted girlfriend left the kid there and can't freaking remember.

He knows a lot, and I believe in this interview he is learning a lot about the woman sitting next to him.

It's also interesting to see how convincingly Deborah lies.

T would be easier if JI would tell a straight story:
From 10/6 KMBC interview:
JI: “When I came home from work, the front door was unlocked, most of the lights were on in the house, and the window was, in the front, was open. Obviously, all very unusual and then I started checking on the kids. Checked on the boys first, and then we checked on her, that’s when we realized she was gone.”

Interesting in the video that's in the OP of this thread.

I went back and re-listened. DB says that Lisa slept with ther Barney, her Glow Worm and her blanket.

Was this blanket every found? I know LE took Cars themed blanket in the SW - but Cars is usually a "boys" type theme. I know it could go either way - but I'm still very interested in this "blanket" that Lisa slept with every night - according to her mom.

Barney - accounted for
Glow Worm - accounted (taken in SW)
HER blanket - no other know information - was it a character theme blanket? Was it just a nice baby blanket - color? Material?

Very very interested in Lisa's "blanket" now.

Right off their website.

Patients should also be watched for becoming agitated, irritable, hostile, aggressive, impulsive, or restless. Such symptoms should be reported to the patient’s doctor right away.

Then google anger and effexor.

and there we have it folk <sighs> and the defense rests...right there in a nutshell... don't think for a moment they haven't already come up with that one.

Yeah, I caught that as well. Not sure what, if anything, it means. Probably nothing -- unless you believe that Deborah was up and about when he came home.

What I meant by "starstruck" was that DB/JI went with the media modsnips (BS the "PI" and JT the big NYC attorney who represented Van der Sloot) and the alleged ABC/People Magazine media deal, and fired the local attorney with the excellent reputation. And they "spit on" (figuratively) the local media.
