 yeah

wonder how long before she has a fresh manicure? Awful woman should be allowed out on bail only if she is forced to live in the same conditions she subjected her children to, you know, the ones she referred to as oldest, kid 1, and kid 2 in her phone contacts

Brennan found that Walker did not abuse her discretion during the preliminary examination and said, “there’s no question in the court’s mind that to a probable cause standard, the testimony that was presented in front of Judge Walker supported that the crime was committed and that to a probable cause standard she (Bryant) committed it.”

Bryant’s attorney, Cecilia Quirindongo-Baunsoe, said the defense team will likely file an interlocutory appeal, which is an appeal of a ruling while the case is still moving forward.

Another pretrial conference was scheduled for Thursday, July 24, at 1:30 p.m., but that could change if an interlocutory appeal does get filed.

Video of hearing in link.

I'll give Quirindongo-Baunsoe credit, she is fiercely advocating for the accused. 😏

I think an interlocutory appeal on this issue will not get any traction and is a time waste, but at least her client won't ever be able to claim Ineffective assistance of counsel JMO

Pontiac — An Oakland County judge said Friday there are grounds to terminate the parental rights of a Pontiac mother who allegedly left her three kids to live in squalor for more than three years.

Kelli Bryant's three children were found Feb. 14 living alone in a Pontiac home filled with cobwebs, trash and feces — a home so filthy that evidence technicians needed to wear hazmat suits and gas masks, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said. They were 12, 13 and 15 at the time.

During the hearing, which took place Thursday and Friday, Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Lisa Langton heard testimony from the children's' grandfather, sheriff's office deputies, two fathers of Bryant's four children, the Child Protective Services worker on the case, a foster care specialist, the children's therapists and a doctor who treated them...

Hopefully these children are happy wherever they are, I imagine there was a heck of a lot a readjusting needed!
