I believe a bunch of Niagara victims are never found, whether they died by homicide/suicide or misadventure (the barrel thing, believe it or not, people do try). It's such a turbulent environment, bodies can end up being held under indefinitely by the pressure of the falls.

Unbelievable that so many people have attempted the barrel stunt. Even more unbelievable that 15 or 16 people have survived going over the falls in a barrel.
