Mother preparing to be arrested

BBM: :waitasec: Should this be : Baby Lisa's "aunt" ...

omg ... and these are attorneys ?

moo ...

ETA: I see BetteDavisEyes caught it before me ... lol ...

To be fair, I doubt the attorneys are typing the tweets.

I know I am not alone in this but I am so frustrated right now...SOMEONE knows where that baby is....................................accidental, killed or kidnapped...SOMEONE knows something!!!

So this Ashley is a paralegal? This makes MUCH more sense than her being an attorney. refresh my memory - did someone try and pass her off as a JD - or was this just a 'lost in translation' type of error??

Also today, an aunt of Lisa’s told The Star that comments she gave on Good Morning America this morning were taken out of context and she had no knowledge of any police plan to arrest the girl’s mother.

“It is my fault because I did not choose my words carefully enough to articulate the point I was trying to convey,” said Ashley Irwin.

Hypothetically, Irwin said, police tend to focus their investigative efforts on the parents of a missing child if other leads fail to materialize.

Translation (entirely speculation) she was reacting to the GJ hearing and Mom probably really is preparing herself that this might be it. But she missed late last night's, this am's media stories about the searches of the teen's home and the man seen on video with DB and realized she missed opportunities to imply someone else was the focus. Then when she saw herself making those statements on TV she realized she made Mom sound more guilty and missed the opportunities.

She would have been better off just saying "LE is not keeping us in the loop about their plans and we don't know where they are going with the GJ request. As long as it helps to find Lisa the family doesn't care." But too late for that now.

Her son was sleeping with her. And a kitten.

I wonder if the kitten was really a stray and not some other cat, maybe belonging to a mystery man. Does the dad know anything about finding a kitten?

I just don't picture myself taking a stray kitten in bed with me and my children the first night we've found him. It has probably not learned to use the sand box yet and I don't fancy cat pee in my bed, and who knows what kind of parasites he might have.

Is it just me, or does JI look quite a bit older that DB?
Anyone know how long they've been together?

Ashley is really making me think a different direction on this whole situation. If it was a family member that took Lisa, who better than the family spokeperson to point the finger at mom.

2ish years is what we've been told.

From what I recall JI is 28 and DB is 25. I would have guessed JI to be in his 40s. Do we have any pictures of JI & DB before Lisa went missing? Just wondering if it's the stress & situation that's causing them to not look their age.

I dont know how long they have been together but he does look a lot older than her. She is young though, like 25 I think.

Since my hinky meter ran amok when I saw the mother of Lisa, I say she is the culprit.

I threw out all my crow recipes when kc got acquitted. It was tough eating. Thanks for the recipe..I hope I don't have to dig out my crockpot on this one.

In the beginning I was willing to give her the benefit of doubt, but after hearing about her being seen at the grocery store with an unidentified man buy a case of wine prior to baby going missing, I beginning to wonder if I was wrong to give her that benefit of doubt. Not sure what to think after hearing about the video at the store.

Ashley Irwin, baby Lisa's niece, is a paralegal at our law firm. Please help us keep the word out there for her. facebook.com/find.lisa

Presumably, the poster means "baby Lisa's aunt".

Looks like that person doesnt choose their words wisely either.

This is jmo, absolutely moo, and founded on nothing other than immediate emotional reaction. And if it proves to be a bs opinion, I will happily change it!

Have you ever been around a person who's an expert in something, and thinks that it qualifies her as an expert in everything that's even vaguely tangentially related to that something? And makes sure everyone knows how expert she is and how they should absolutely consult her on these matters? And convinces you that your understanding of these things is so woefully inadequate that if you don't entrust yourself to her expertise, you'll be sunk? And the whole world is conspiring against you, but she will be your champion?

And really the situation she's "helping" with isn't about her, but suddenly it's all about her? And meanwhile, you're sinking fast?

...that's how Ashley appears to me.

I am open to this opinion being changed. I know it is not unbiased.

It was NOT a CASE of wine, it was one box. PLUS the LE spokesperson said that this was checked out, they know who the man is, he clearly stated that there is NO SCANDAL and that it has nothing to do with furthering the case. That seems to be a pretty firm rejection of the innuendo and rumor by LE, so it would be wise of the media and public to do the same, it seems.

The man is known to the family. The video checks out. She wasnt doing anything wrong. I dont think the wine was even for her.. moo :twocents:

I agree! I was rewatching the videos and thought the same thing...her voice too sounded younger and more immature (no pun intended) than his.

Besides, just my experience...if a person wants to sleep well, she shouldn't bring a kitten to bed. ;) Been there, done that, spent the night playing with/adoring the kitten.

:rocker: I agree ...

IMO ... she was "smirking" in that interview on GMA and she came across as " :silenced: " ...

MOO ...

Nowadays it would be very easy for a man to set up his wife. Notice how everyone just automatically believes his story, he came home and the lights were on all over the house. For all we know he could have come home and abducted the child earlier and then destroyed the phones after he returned.

Perhaps he wanted to leave her. And he didn't want to be encumbered by child support payments and another child. So he does this.

To me if they are not finding any scent or traces of death inside the house, then it means it was planned. Because if it was an accidental death I doubt the person would have the wherewithall to throw together a plan that quickly.
