GUILTY Mount Pleasant Chief Arraigned on Child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Charge

  • #21

I could be wrong, totally wrong, but it seems he just became chief 3 months ago after many years on the force. The time frame is these 3 months.

I would think he is too smart for something like this.

We have another local case of a restaurant owner charged with rape of a minor. He has a prior offence and walked free. I think his current trial begins later this week. The county sheriff let him walk the first time.

That same sheriff is now being sued in yet another case by the DA for defamation regarding yet another rape case. That DA happens to be Judge Judy's son. The DA is well liked and well respected. The sheriff, not so much.

I'll wait for more info before having an opinion. Do we KNOW he admitted to it or is it poor reporting? He could have "admitted" to having the images on his computer due to his classes/research, but I don't see he admitted to using them for personal viewing?

We all view many cases here. We view links, screen cap, and files.
We all research. What would DHS find on your computer? :scared:

My intuition/skepticism suggest he was set up because he was researching.
He got close, and shut down for political reasons. :twocents:

:truce:

The "doing research" excuse rings hollow to me. From what I've read, he wasn't in charge of any sex-crimes division at the police department; he was volunteering to lecture fifth-graders in a catholic school about sex abuse. I don't see how downloading kiddie 🤬🤬🤬🤬 would be research for his lectures. Was he going to make them a part of a slideshow presentation? No, he was downloading files with vile names and then quickly deleting any footprint of them from his computer.

WHITE PLAINS - Former Mount Pleasant Police Chief Brian Fanelli was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 5 years probation Wednesday for possession of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

"This is probably one of the most tragic and sad cases I've seen," U.S. District Court Judge Kenneth M. Karas said in announcing the sentence.

I just want to make sure I understand ... the good people of New York get to pay him $55k+ a year while he's serving his, um, 18 months in prison for child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬?
Wow. I guess crime does pay. Literally.
