Both suspects arrested after deadly Oxford hit-and-run

This is terrible.
Ole Miss won a big football game at home on Saturday, and for sure students and supporters were celebrating that victory. And then this tragedy happened that changed everything for 2 victims and their friends and families, and the 2 suspects who made horrible deadly decisions that night.

What had been a beautiful fall Saturday in Oxford ended with a horrendous event that took the life of one of our students. Walker Fielder, a junior from Madison, Mississippi, was killed and another student, Blanche Williamson, a sophomore from Raleigh, North Carolina, was seriously injured after they were struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run just off the Square.

No parent sends their child to college ever thinking something like this could happen.
