Bumping. Justice for Ally.

  • #622
Good bump.
Justice for her and her still-hurting family and friends.

Nothing in media for a looooong time. Hoping for a trial date soon. It’s been almost 2 years…

  • #624
Ole Miss had their delayed 2020 graduation this past weekend which would have been Ally’s year. Such a tragedy that she was denied that opportunity and countless others that would have come to her by the devastating decision of someone without any regard for her precious life.

It's so heartbreaking to think of Ally's family during this time. I know they're more than ready for justice to slap Brandon upside the head! There's really no reason he can't be brought to trial soon.

Unless his psych eval was never completed before covid hit. My guess is they can’t keep BT out of the Big House, so the next best thing is stalling every step of the way to delay the day he moves in to his new forever home. Jmo

Two years is not that unusual a "wait" time for a case to come to trial in many states -- basing this on what I have seen here on WS for years -- and Covid19 has slowed things considerably in most states. And yes, BT's attorneys are sure to cause as many delays as possible.
Hoping we'll hear something soon.
So we wait.

Where are we at on this case?

  • #629
Was hoping for some shred of news on this case.

I have a feeling it could be a lot longer til we see this case in court, at trial. His family has the means to delay almost indefinitely.

Meanwhile, I hope his cell is nice and warm during the coming heatwave. It will give him a taste of another forever home he'll have.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was being held someplace "more comfortable"!

Fortunately -- the Sheriff still has him under lock and key...

Random search and came up with this video news report on April 28, 2021!!

Brandon Theesfeld pleads not guilty in court appearance.

Brandon Theesfeld pleads not guilty in court appearance.

Reporter cites that dad was in the courtroom and refused comment. Psych eval results were still pending on this date.

I'm unfamiliar with MS courts but I'm recalling something about "court terms." I recall reading an update in January that cited the next court term would be April.

Perhaps that's why he entered his plea on April 28, 2021?

I hate this case. Too many things hit too close to home.

I just hope money won't buy his way out

I agree and share your concerns.
Seems to me that the defense hopes time and money will be their friend.

I can't believe it's been two years since BT allegedly gunned down this beautiful woman.
