BRANDON, Miss. —
The Rankin County Sheriff's Department is asking for help finding a man who has been missing since 2015.
Brian Keith Freeny was last seen about 2:20 p.m. on Aug. 11, 2015, in the Lake Harbor community in the northern part of Rankin County, authorities said.
Freeny's mother reported him missing on Oct. 12, 2015, authorities said.
The case remains active, investigators said.
Freeny is a white man, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 170 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He has a skull tattoo on his upper right arm, a sun tattoo on his chest, "Kimberly" tattooed on his right forearm, a panther tattoo on his back and comedy faces tattooed on his upper left arm, authorities said.
Anyone with information about Freeny's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477) for a possible reward.

Sheriff's Deputies went to Freeny's home on August 11 in response to a disturbance. When Freeny was approached by deputies, he fled on foot into an open field off of Highway 43 and continued into a wooded area. Law enforcement officers said they searched for hours looking for him and was unable to locate him.
Authorities said Freeny is out of jail on bond and does have warrants for his arrest. However, officials say they are just trying to verify his well being at this time. Freeny does take medication and officials said he did not have it with him when he was last seen.
