I'm glad you've been following it. I'd like to see it resolved. People who turn on their alleged friends are some of the worst people to have around. And I get the impression that he had some trouble with someone he knew very well.

Well...I have to admit I have been looking for this case....one of the first cases that I felt hinky about.
They pinged the truck but went in separate directions into the woods.

I also wonder where was the friends truck at the search location or at the other guys house or his house?
If they went separately into the woods I assumed they had phones to communicate. Wouldn't the dude call him and say taking the wife home?

So, we have Sky and Travis walking around looking for Travis stolen truck. Amanda is maybe sitting in the hot truck with the daughter and what, calls Travis to take them home? They leave Sky to keep looking for it, or did they find it?

Ya know....I don't know. I thought I read it was found in a different area. I believe there was an arrest for the truck being stolen.
There was a video/pic of Sky, I assume from that day at a store. I initially thought he didn't go into the woods but maybe he did, maybe he was set up?

I see some parallels here. 27 year old white men from Mississippi who seemingly wandered away from a vehicle. Unfortunately, the odds of that happening more than once in half a year are not low enough to draw suspicion on their own. These locations are almost 200 miles apart.

Sadly, Justin has been found and Skylar is still missing. So probably not connected.
Still hoping Skylar will be found safe.

This makes me so sad. It has been over a year.
We know who saw him last. I am sure there is a lot more to the story.

Joseph Skylar Burnley, 27, has been missing since June 3, 2016 when investigators said he was helping Travis Lee Brewer and Amanda June Morris search the woods for a 1988 Chevy pickup truck Brewer said was stolen from his home.

Brewer and Morris are facing unrelated misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia that were a result of a search warrant related to Burnley’s disappearance, authorities said.

"Knowing that sky is gone is one thing, but not being able to find him and not being able to put things to rest is hard on any family," Burnley's mother Stacey Cook said.

I wonder if someone or more than one was waiting in the woods for Skylar that day?

This case breaks my heart. Skyler sounds like a really great guy taking care of his grandma and all. I think the so-called friends have a lot to do with his disappearance. They know something!

Skylar's story is on Crimewatch Daily right now. I hadn't heard about this case until now. This story reminds me of Darren Kidd's. He's still missing, too.
