CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. -- A search was underway Thursday afternoon in Caldwell County for a missing man.
The sheriffs office said 22-year-old Joseph Alexander Poovey left his residence on Clark Hill Place in Hudson on Wednesday to walk to a friend's apartment on Grove Avenue in Lenoir. The friend said Poovey never made the nine-mile trek.
Poovey is a white male, 22 yrs old, 510, 150 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. If you see him, call the Caldwell County Sheriffs Office at 758-2324.
