Found Safe MS - Darius Taylor, 25, Hinds County, 30 July 2018 *Silver Alert*

A Silver Alert for 25-year-old Darius Cantrell Taylor has been issued. He was last seen around 11:00 Monday morning walking into a wooded area in the 1900 block of Prentiss Crump Road in Hinds County. Investigators said he was only wearing boxer-style underwear.

Taylor is described as a black male, five feet, 10 inches tall, weighting 150 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.

A shirt and sock believed to belong to Taylor were found during a search Tuesday. The clothing was found in an abandoned house and there were other signs that Taylor may have been in and out of that home.

There's enough evidence right now that Taylor is mobile that searchers are going to deescalate the search today in case Taylor is alarmed by the large gathering of rescue vehicles and searchers. The hope is he will come back to one of the family homes. The family agrees that giving Taylor a little space is a good idea to see if he'll come home on his own.
