The Jackson Police Department is asking the public to help find a missing 62-year-old man. Johanne McCarthy was last seen on January 8 in the Save-A-Lot parking lot on Bailey Avenue.

This MSN gives a different imformation on where he was last seen. This location is ca 10 mins drive away from the other, ca1h by foot.

Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) said Johanne McCarthy was last seen on Wednesday, January 8 around 2:00 p.m. in the 1000 block of Arbor Vista Boulevard. He was walking in an unknown direction, wearing a gray hoodie and white pants.
McCarthy suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.

My understanding is that he left his family at 2pm to go pick up a pay check, he went at his job, and then he was last seen there with a woman. He then went away, they believe on foot.

All this is not very clear. Did he drive to his job ? Or did he walk away leaving his car at his job ?
