Found Deceased MS - Justin Humble, 27, Monroe County, 27 Dec 2016

  • #21
There doesn't seem to be a Find Justin page on FB. All of the info is coming from mom's page.... so I guess I cannot divulge what little is there. While Nettleton is tiny community, surely there are some other resources available to this family.

The mother does not want a page for discussing Justin.
I was attacked on her page for suggesting it. Comments were deleted but I have SS.
The mother is not putting out any info. The only thing she is asking from "outsiders" is for prayer and money.

So he appears to be recently separated from LTG. Nothing on his SM shows someone who is depressed or distressed or worried - in fact he recently moved and got a new job, was enjoying the football season and in very good spirits. She is only recently added on FB so there was a period of time they were no friends, but were in 2014 when she tagged him in a photo of her and one of their babies.

It sounds like they searched one mile radius of "his last known location" and then say it was where the car was found...how do they know he was there? Why only one mile?

JMO I don't think this is a suicide or voluntary missing.

His vehicle was found at 11:40, 100 yards from where he had dropped a friend and their girlfriend off at 10:18.
It was reported that Justin then text his girlfriend to say he was stopping at the store to get her a drink before coming home.
10:18 was the last time he was heard from and the last time his phone was used.

I wonder why they don't have a missing page? Ive read the mother doesnt want details speculated on because its an ongoing investigation - but the more info people know, the better chance someone will remember seeing something.

Exactly. That is what I tried to explain to her.
When asked what was he last seen wearing, she said that nobody knew.
He had not picked up money his father had sent. He had money coming from his job that went unclaimed.

Strange...not even the people he dropped off? Maybe due to darkness?

Possibly LE asked them not to at this time? LE usually knows more than they share and chose to stop the search in the area where his vehicle was found.

I also wonder if LE was able to determine if someone picked Justin up from where his vehichle was found?

My concern is Lake Monroe is in the distance of Little Coontail Rd.

I hope he just needed to get away from some stresses in life and will be home soon.

I can see her being physically and mentally drained. I don't see her not wanting outside help. I did see her trying to limit a pic of one of his tattoos being posted. The pic is public on his facebook...so I'm not sure why?

Thinking it may be misinterpreted is likely.

I think she is a Mom who hates her kid's tattoo (as many parents do) & doesn't want to have to look at it every time she sees his missing poster. Seems a bit extreme of a reaction, but I don't care to walk in her shoes to see how I would feel.

I think his mom feels she has no control in this situation and she is exerting control where she can.

He's been found :(

BREAKING NEWSl Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said the body of Justin Humble was found about 30 minutes ago in a small pond on Little Coontail Road not far from where he was last seen.
Sadly, after looking at the map yesterday I posted my concern with the larger lake close to Little Coontail Rd. I did notice the closer ponds but assumed they were part of the initial search.
I don't understand why they discontinued the search for him in the area he was last known to be and where his vehichle was found.
Will continue to read.

The family is in my prayers.

If you read through some of the posts on LTG's Facebook you will understand why the family was so resistant to outside help. It seems they likely had a strong idea of what happened right away.

RIP Justin! No matter the circumstances you were taken too soon!

Ah...that does shed some light on what may have happened. I agree, tragic nonetheless. [emoji22]
