Exactly! It's possible little Kingston never even saw them. Why would they take his life? Pure evil. They can all kiss their lives goodbye for a ten minute joyride.

I am not sure where the reporter is getting their information because "moments later" was not said in the press conference. Hopefully by tomorrow we will have more answers.

If he was the child that was sick, I can understand her lying him on the back seat.

If he was sick, why were they sending him to his little graduation hours later? I thought the illness was just speculation...was it not?

I still can't. A little boy's life for a freaking car. You know what? I think the death penalty makes for terrible policy. I would never vote in its favor. But there are a few rare cases where the crime is so heinous I don't feel terrible about someone facing that penalty. I don't like that about myself, but shooting a child in the head shows such cruelty and lack of basic respect for a living person... and a mere child at that. I wonder what the suspects have to say for themselves. I hope they feel great shame and remorse.

I had missed the 1st part of the PC. Around 2:30, there was an officer working at the Kroger who witnessed a woman coming out of the store. They made eye contact and the woman mentioned her car was missing and the officer drew a case number. It wasn't until later they found out there was a child in the car so at 1st they thought it was just an auto theft.

I have too, but my kids were way older and able to lock the doors, like 16/17. And it was only to run into a QT or something and never in the middle of the night! But I'm not judging....yet.

I just recently left my two youngest kids alone in my car (engine running) for the first time ever while I ran into a convenience store. My kids were 15 and 19 years old at the time. Never considered it when they were young. That said, there are a lot of good people who believe bad things won't happen to them.

For that reason, I won't blame the mother unless evidence points to something different. Right now at least she's a victim who will undoubtedly beat herself up every single day for that fateful decision.

She IS a victim and like I said I won't judge but damnit it all to hell! I'm so tired of this. I'm sick and tired of our children being murdered and hearing of neglectful actions by "parents." It never ends. It's never ending!

So, was this child removed from a bed at home to be taken to a store and left in a running car at 2 am with his graduation the next morning? And at that monent a guy got out another car and took this one. With a child inside. Under the assumption that he wanted to steal the car. But then not only does he dump the car (that he wanted so stole) but also shot a baby in the head? Am I understanding this story right?

I'm just going to say that in the car thefts where a baby happened to be inside, the vast majority I have seen end with a live child. Anyone have some stats on that? I'm so mad. So mad. That baby worked hard all year to finish his sweet work.

Playing devil's advocate, perhaps he was sick. Vomiting maybe. She had nothing for him to help him feel better and didn't want him to miss graduation, so put him in the car to drive to Kroeger. He fell asleep. She didn't want to wake him so took a chance on leaving him in the car.

I don't know where the info is coming from about him being sick, but I can't seem to follow the conflicting timeline (1:15 or 2:30?), or why the mother didn't tell the officer IMMEDIATELY that her son was in the missing car... or why the Amber alert didn't go out until after 4am. Or, why a 6 year old child is in a running vehicle in the middle of the night, on a school night. I'm not following this on any SM sites so maybe all that info is there, and I just haven't seen it.

It was just after 1 a.m. on Thursday and Archie, a mother of two from Jackson, had left the Toyota Camry running and the doors apparently unlocked. She was buying medicine, her family said, and Kingston had asked to stay in the car.

It doesn't state for whom the medicine was for.
If Kingston asked to "stay in the car", then he was awake and not asleep.

Would he have had the chance to scream and alert someone, even while he was being driven away, could he have banged on the windows and possibly alerted passes by in other vehicles.
Was he shot straight away?

In just a few hours, Kingston was scheduled to graduate from kindergarten.

Why was he in the car?
Were there family members who could have watched him while she was out getting "medicine"
If so, then whats he doing out at that hour, knowing he has to be up in "just a few hours"

It’s unclear if they knew the boy was in the Camry at the time it was stolen.

According to reports above (he asked to stay in the car) he was awake, that is, unless he fell asleep in the 10-15 minute window he was left alone and his Mum was in the store.
Wouldn't their natural reaction be to look over into the back seat to see if their was anyone there, or, to see if there was anything of value to steal.
The reports of what happened (timeline, too) are all over the place to say the least.
