Share memories & support the family
A friend to all that knew him, Kirby lived life fast, worked hard, loved people, and always looked sharp while doing it. He enjoyed fast cars, motorcycles, road trips, trying new foods, especially anything spicy, and fishing. Kicking back with friends and family while listening to good music or riding any backroad were favorite pastimes. Out of all his accomplishments, his children were his greatest pride and joy. He was a wonderful father and although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing we will meet Kirby again someday.

Sheriff Chip Shuler said the two had only been in the area for a few months and most recently were living in the Sugar Grove area.
According to NBC affiliate WTVA, the couple's daughter, Caitlin Spence, was arrested Thursday in Pennsylvania.
Investigators said she was living with the victim at the time. The victim was a well-known business owner in the rural Mississippi county just across the Tennessee line.
According to investigators, the trio had long been considered suspects and a new piece of evidence brought a break in the case and led to the arrests.
