A couple of other details that are new to me from the SG interview(sorry, some of it is graphic!)-

Coroner told SG that two of the victims "basically drowned from their stab wounds", that much of the blood was internal and under blankets.

SG thinks BK grabbed a shirt and wrapped it around the kbar in order to not leave a blood trail as he left...this is what he thinks DM saw in his hand that she confused as some type of vacuum.

The shovel found in BK's car was tiny and would have been useless for snow shoveling purposes. He thinks BK buried the knife after leaving. Evidently LE has checked a few locations.
Lots of ground down around Blaine where his cellphone came back to life that night/morning. Probably under concrete & asphalt of a new road down that way if I were to speculate.

I need a transcript!!! Lol!!
There is one in the youtube page. Expand the description, the transcript pops up to the right. At least it does for me.

@Megnut don’t be too angry about my Blaine suspicion - he might have thrown it into the Snake River when he was down in Clarkston/Lewiston area. I was looking at Google street view & it’s pretty easy shoreline access along there. I’m just not sure he’d risk potentially being seen doing such activities in city limits. Blaine just struck me as perfect - it’s so isolated & sparsely populated. That new road dirt area looked to have entrance via north & south just off 95 - almost a slight detour.

I think you're right. I just wonder if he didn't get tangled up or turned around or re-routed due to unexpected construction and had to map his way home, turning his phone on earlier than he had planned.

I don't much have the mind of a criminal, but I would have thought that someone with a vested interest like BK would have turned his phone off and back on at the same location in order to make it look like that's where the phone stayed. Guessing he didn't know that digital forensics can tell if a phone goes off, when and how, though. So, even if he had tried to stage his phone as an alibi, the actions of turning it on and off would been obvious as all get out. Still, it could have created a temporary appearance of having gone out of cell tower reaches if he were running or star gazing or saving small furries from crocogators in a fixed location that was anywhere but where he actually was.

Wherever he left the weapon, I'll be shocked if we learn he never, not even once, returned to fondle it.

I sometimes work at a job where I use a spray gun to to paint stuff all day.
I arrive with slip on shoes and leggings & t-shirt.

At location I put on an all in one suit like BK’s but disposable, step into boots, put on disposable gloves with more grippy gloves over. Also cover my hair, and safety face mask. Does not take more than a minute or two.
Am usually very paint covered esp at end of day cleaning equipment. Don’t want paint on me anywhere when I get in my car.

End of day, reverse, everything carefully peeled inside out and into a plastic bag as don’t want paint transfer. Again, I’m not rushing but it only takes a minute or two.

Could easily modify this to minimise any blood transfer.
I would wear running tights, base layer & slip on shoes. Arrive as BK did dressed.
After the killing. Peel off the Dickies suit & into garbage bag, vans, step out of bloody clothes & straight into clean slip ons, dirty into bag, remove face cover, remove gloves last. Wipe down face & hands with medi-wipes. Into garbage bag, put this bag into another bag. Elantra cargo area has maybe shower curtain liner. (No idea where he dumps this. Possibly dorm dumpster. )

Once it’s bagged & in cargo area. Slip into clean sweatpants & top over the running tights & base layer and have clean shoes & clean gloves. I’m out running! Very minimal transfer of blood to car. Could have cover on seat, fresh gloves & floor liner. Drive back home.
Any transfer dna could be removed over the next weeks of obsessive cleaning.

See his keeping car clean very possible.
Dumping the clothes .. he would have had a good idea where not be found … he must have studied garbage very well.

Well, we know he had a penchant for other people's trash cans. Plenty of dumpsters which don't belong to him in college towns, his or theirs.

Safe to say, one way or another, by 10:30am, he was rid of everything related to 1122, his kill kit anyway.

Y'all recall BK's movements on the day of, after the selfie, right around when 911 was called? Is that when he was at Albertson's? Where he, his phone and the Elantra were all together? And wasn't he also tracked to the FoodChef store, captured by the camera at Kate's Cup of Joe?

Why did he go all the way to Lewiston to shop? 30+ miles away. Guess what's over by FoodChef and Kate's Cup of Joe. Walmart.

Walmart, home of the criminal buying cleaning supplies. Did BK drive all that way to avoid closer stores? Still paying cash? Did he decide Walmart was too risky? too many cameras? Thought Albertson's might give him better cover?

All dressed up, buttoned to the top, did BK skip Mass? Or did he take that up again only after arrest?

Busy morning, busy day, I wonder when he slept last...

Busy guy.

Did he have a habit of weekly Mass while a student, before the crime? Based on your post it sounds like he has taken up regular worship since his arrest?

"Apparently he is given the opportunity to go to Mass on Sundays," NewsNation's Brian Entin said during an appearance on Banfield on Monday.

"I've not heard about him being especially religious in the past, but apparently he does have this Mass that he attends," Entin said. "He has conversations there with the priest. What he's talking about, we don't know but we've confirmed that he is going to to Mass."

Based on what I see, the new road is either a bypass of sorts or a future new section of 95. It appears it will go over Eid Road & rejoin 95. Refer to image below. The green curve represents the cleared dirt area which existed in 2022, prior to the murders. Existing county & dirt/gravel roads accessed this area back then. The red & blue curves represent the connection to 95, the northern portion being complete today, with the southern portion from Eid Road (yellow curve going into Blaine) down to the reconnect to 95 having yet to be built (at least on current imagery). BK could have exited somewhere near that north split, made his way down county/access roads to the green section & buried the item(s) where that cleared area was in 2022. All of that is now under concrete/asphalt down to the overpasses being built over Eid Road.

The county roads out that way aren’t in a grid pattern, like most where I live, but the geography around my area is relatively flat until one goes south about 15-20 miles, where the glacial hills begin in the southern third of IN. It’s fairly hilly around Blaine, so the county roads have more curves to them, following the peaks & valleys or trails of old. Few roads are straight shots. Check it out on Google maps when you get an opportunity.

Just spitballing, so MOO.

I think that was a trophy to commemorate the occasion. He'd be able to look at that photo and reflect on what he "accomplished."
Definitely agree with this. Just wondering if there would be a place online to use it for kudos, but such a forum would undoubtedly be risky depending on your caption. 😉 OMO.

Going back to Soto thread, I’m surprised CSA’s get away with posting photos — evidence online!

If someone hasn't posted it yet, I've gotten Sillybilly's permission to post the interview. This guy's YouTube videos are not to be posted, but the one with SG is approved.
There is new info in here. Some was shared by MassGuy.

***SG says there are cars like Teslas that have dashcams and they have him on video driving by that night.

***Also he says there were other times outside of the 23 times that he did go close to their home and his phone was off.

I had speculated early on that BK was watching the news (didn't think he was dumb enough to use a web browser) for the crime. and when he didn't see it he drove by the house to see why.

Could you imagine the cognitive dissonance (MOO) that was going through as he drove by? Particularly if he saw Dylan the night before as some have speculated (OK, maybe just me) Sounds like a scene out of the movie American Psycho.

MOO
I've said all along that BK is not smart. I've been a university-level educator for a long time, and I've learned that students with good grades are not always endowed with critical thinking or common sense thinking skills. And it's thought that psychopaths have problems with impulse control.

Agree. It would be conspicuous in that area,
But the missing minutes on the way to Moscow has a book end of missing minutes leaving Moscow.

I think he had prepared a hiding hole on a rural cross road, and that he went to check on it before he went to Indian Hills, and after the murders dropped his crime bundle in the hole.
He might have retrieved it from there any time or it still could be there.
