Oh Steve. I hope it’s true, and if it is, does that mean the defense has that information already? That’s how it works, right? If there were such a thing as courtroom bombshell testimony, that would be a biggie. But I’m assuming it’s included already in discovery, so the defense would have to have a plan to discount it-if it is to be presented.
Oh yeah, if true they have all this stuff. They'll come up with something, the jury will laugh, and totally discount it.

Could be. But the car bleaching story she supposedly told hasn't been backed up by physical evidence. LE was supposedly surprised not to find traces of bleach in the car but it wasn't found. That tends to call into question the sister's story of seeing him clean the car with bleach.

As a rule, family members aren't unbiased reporters. And they aren't always accurate in what they say. We all have perceptual biases, after all. A family member may know her family member better than the public does but that doesn't mean her perceptions are always accurate. Sometimes it means the opposite. And at any rate, the sister hasn't been questioned under oath or cross-examined. So I'm not ready to accept her claims as true especially when they SEEM to conflict with physical findings.

Re the bleach, apologies if this has already been suggested but he could have been using a different type of chemical cleaner / disinfectant / anti bacterial agent.

Bleach would be a terrible thing to use inside a vehicle, it could stain and discolour fabrics and interiors and also leave a long lingering smell and residue crystals or salts affecting plastics and rubber.

Also BK of all people would know what type of agents that LE are usually assuming have been used in a clean up operation.

This states one of the surveys was posted in June of 2022 but by then he was a graduate student.

For clarity, the month is mentioned in a bulleted list at the top of the article. Reading into the article there is this:

At the time of the post, Kohberger was a graduate student at DeSales University. He graduated with a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice, according to a commencement pamphlet published by DeSales earlier in 2022.

I don't know if this means anything but it was also in June 2022 that #8458 Phone from AT &T --the time the account was opened, BK's account.

I didn't know that! Thx! I'm off to find a floorplan.

Additionally, there's a tiktok video of the roomies all pretending to be each other:

You see several views of the living room. At about 25 seconds, one of the girls pretends to be Maddie and walks from the living room to the kitchen. At about 27/28 seconds, to the right of her you can see the edge of the big green leafy square that was the background to the living room Good Vibes sign.

You can also see from the TikTok that they had string lights in the living room as well. IMHO those string lights were also on that night....from my experience with my similarly aged young adult and his friends, they leave string lights on 24/7 when they are in communal areas like a living room/kitchen, and often leave ones on in their bedrooms as well.

Steve G (Kaylee’s Dad) was interviewed last night. A couple things of note, which would be huge if true:

He talks about the late 911 call being a blessing, as Kohberger was searching online about the murders before they were even reported.

Kohberger also (allegedly) demonstrated knowledge of the crime before things were made public, and even prior to the murders themselves.

He also says that one of Kohberger's sisters was really helpful, while the rest of the family wasn't.

If the thing about the internet searches is true (looking up the murders before they were reported), then this would be second only to the DNA in terms of importance.
And he said a whole lot more. I couldn't catch it all, but there's something about BK calling in sick (Monday?) and he had never done that before.

I couldn't catch all of it about Kaylee be stabbed so many times. Does anyone have a transcript?

Actually, we do know at least some of the string lights were left on that night because they were on in pictures taken the night after the murders through the windows. I think it's safe to assume that the cops/forensics team didn't turn them on if they had been off when they arrived:

Same article I posted earlier.

Interesting detail.

DeSales maintains a crime scene house.

I'm going to guess BK was familiar with it, like everyone in his program. But for very different reasons.

Apparently BK posted his survey on Reddit starting in May, according to a number of MSM reports that I was just reading.

Hindsight is such a fascinating thing..Why does the fact that his username was simply Criminology_Student irk me so much? Reddit has sense forth suspended the account I see.

If someone hasn't posted it yet, I've gotten Sillybilly's permission to post the interview. This guy's YouTube videos are not to be posted, but the one with SG is approved.
There is new info in here. Some was shared by MassGuy.

Holy cow! Yes,if that is true. What will the defense do? I mean it’s tantamount to an admission. Moo

Agreed. That's about as close as you can get without some sort of file evidence digitally (like Rex Heuermann) ...There really isn't a way around him possessing knowledge of an issue at that location regardless of what it was without him having been involved or in contact with someone who was.

Y'all recall BK's movements on the day of, after the selfie, right around when 911 was called? Is that when he was at Albertson's? Where he, his phone and the Elantra were all together? And wasn't he also tracked to the FoodChef store, captured by the camera at Kate's Cup of Joe?

Why did he go all the way to Lewiston to shop? 30+ miles away. Guess what's over by FoodChef and Kate's Cup of Joe. Walmart.

Walmart, home of the criminal buying cleaning supplies. Did BK drive all that way to avoid closer stores? Still paying cash? Did he decide Walmart was too risky? too many cameras? Thought Albertson's might give him better cover?

All dressed up, buttoned to the top, did BK skip Mass? Or did he take that up again only after arrest?

Busy morning, busy day, I wonder when he slept last...

Busy guy.

We can hope, but I doubt that BK was dumb enough to actually Google 'Murders in Moscow, Id'. He probably went to the local TV market news website, and perhaps did it several times in a short period, which would certainly be difficult to explain away, especially if it was not a site that he regularly visited for news frequently. Or he might have just gone onto a local X site or such and looked at posts. While it would be very reasonable for a jury to draw an inference that he was looking for a report on the murders, which would clearly be correct, the defense, if confronted with the evidence that he was on the website, will merely suggest he was looking for sports scores, or almost anything other than what he was actually looking for. No one will believe her, but her only alternative is to admit that her client was looking for a report about the 4 students he butchered.

Honestly, as much as I get annoyed with her endless ridiculous motions filings, I realize that she is doing a thankless, but necessary job, and I almost feel sorry for her at times. She was dealt Aces and 8's, a dead man's hand. JMO

Thanks for that! A great video of them!

If you continue on from the video of the roommates, you come to one with Hunter Johnson's sharing memories of his best friend Ethan.

I encourage you all to watch it. It's pretty moving and just shows what a great friend he was. He's also the one that made sure BF and DM didn't see their friends dead and told everyone to leave.

You're a fine man Hunter, Ethan would be very proud of you I'm sure.

This stuck with me so much that I had to locate these unconventionally and it was cross posted to multiple subreddits.

From what I’m reading via some of these posts today, it’s reading to me like he potentially was preparing for the crimes in early to mid-2022. It’s almost as if that’s why he went to Pullman. He’s killing 5 months later…

So i have worked in IT for over a decade and can tell you both yes and no to this question.

If he simply used incognito from Chrome or InPrivate from Edge then yes but considering he his technical knowledge he could have used a variety of ways to hide his history like using a firewall and vpns and tor browser to access the clearnet (regular sites) which again you can still leave crumbs if you are not careful. I almost guarantee that there are various examples in his digital forensics that, while not illegal, do show that these precautions were made.
I am chiming in here with my own experience. If there is a restore point,, you can system restore and get it back. If you delete and don't Defrag, you can usually get information back. There are cleaner programs that delete and wipe, but there would be evidence of that use. But what lot of people don't realize is you can delete browser history and it's often still in your temp files. Microsoft is lousy at cleanup. And you can see activity on your router. Also, if you use Google and sync between devices with web activity enabled, you can get the history that way depending on circumstances. Sometimes Sync wipes out everything on all devices, sometimes it doesnt. Google also has a My Activity if it was enabled. Other browsers have their own quirks. My experience, anyway.

I don't know that BK was all that technically inclined, really. It depends on the browser, his personal set up, and how far he knew to go. Most people don't go far enough.
