Police: 18-year-old missing under bizarre set of circumstances

Police said his (Brown's) friend pulled into the driveway of an acquaintance in the 400 block of Jones Beene Dr.

Police said the friend was inside the house for about 15 minutes. They said Brown stayed in the car, and the friend heard a gunshot.

The friend told police he did not see Brown inside or outside the car, and the car sped away.

Police in Holly Springs, Mississippi are investigating the possible kidnapping of an 18-year-old.

It all started when shots were reportedly fired outside a home Tuesday evening.

During the chaos, the suspect stole Melvin Brown’s car with him inside it.
