Gautier mother locked up after drowning deaths of her children - SuperTalk Mississippi

A Mississippi Gulf Coast mother is behind bars after her two young children drowned to death.

On Monday, around 5:30 p.m., Gautier police and firefighters responded to a distress call at a home on Three Oaks Drive after two young children, ages 5 and 2, were found unresponsive near a swimming pool. According to officials, first responders immediately began life-saving efforts, and both children were transported to a local hospital.

"The mother, 36-year-old Amber Goldman, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia."
Other charges are expected.
