Miss. Mother Who Allegedly 'Forcibly Drowned' 2-Year-Old Son Charged With Murder: Police

Lauderdale County Sheriff Ward Calhoun said in a press conference streamed by WTOK that Adrienne McDevitt was arrested after her son, Kelly McDevitt Jr., was found dead by deputies responding to a domestic disturbance.

Investigators report it all started Tuesday night when calls were placed to 911 for a domestic disturbance between two adults.

Lauderdale County police arrived at a home on Bolen Long Creek Road to find Adrienne McDevitt alone with her son Kelly McDevitt Jr. The boy was deceased.

“Based upon our investigation, we have charged Adrienne McDevitt with murder, and she has a $500,000 bond,” said Calhoun.

Adrienne McDevitt is being treated at an area hospital under the custody of the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office.

So, I guess she was angry...
What in the world did the 2 year/old say or do to her to make her so angry??? Did he call her a bad-word-name??? Did he slap her in the face??? Did he punch her in the mouth???
Such a bad, bad, little boy, right? -- Well, she showed him, didn't she?
Drowning -- How absolutely cruel.
Grrrrr. SMH. Glad she's in the slammer. Just dammit.
