Motel? I thought he was at a mall area so apparently the motel is near the mall? Confusing reporting from Tupelo first age now locations. (IMO)

I've received word from a relative of Mr. Essex that there are no new updates on his case and there haven't been any sightings. Please spread the word in and around Mississippi! Too many of our seniors are disappearing. :(

:eek:Right? Professional quality standards and ethics seem to have gone by the wayside in almost every industry, and kinda in ppl in general. Service and quality aren't what they used to be, imo and in my experience.

Now in NamUs: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Also in Charley Project: Rommie Lee Essex – The Charley Project
Details of Disappearance
Essex was last seen on foot near an apartment complex called The Pines, on February 19, 2019. He may have been en route to Memphis, Tennessee at the time. He has never been heard from again.

The day before disappearance, Essex had called his daughter in a panic because he thought someone was trying to break into his apartment. His daughter lives out of state and asked local family members to check up on him. They did and everything seemed to be fine. It's unclear whether the alleged attempted break-in had anything to do with his case.

Essex didn't have a cellular phone or car the time of his disappearance. His case remains unsolved.

Such a sad case. The NamUs report now has him at 82 so maybe he has had a birthday since he has been missing. If we had his birth date, maybe we could figure out his age.

Looked at Google maps and The Pines Apts is a few blocks north of the Mall. I wonder if there is a path or cut-through that is used by residents to reach the mall. Not good at posting images so not sure if this will show up on the link.
