Found Deceased MS - Scott McQuary, 49, Myrtle, 16 Nov 2019

49-year-old Scott McQuary has made no contact with his family since Friday night and has not been seen since Saturday morning. McQuary lives in the area near West Union School, which is located on State Highway 30 in Myrtle.

His vehicle is a 2003 gray Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck with tag number UNI 5324.

The sheriff said McQuary was paid Friday and his paycheck has not been cashed.

His phone is either dead or turned off.

A man who was last seen near the Lafayette County and Union County line is still missing, according to Union County Sheriff Jimmy Edwards.

Update:

Officers still had no good leads Thursday in the disappearance of West Union resident Scott McQuary.

They said they have pursued possible leads in Pontotoc as well as Union County but the last cell phone contact appeared to be in the National Forest between West Union and Oxford. The signal was not good and the national forest area is known for poor cell service at best.

Found deceased - Missing Union County man found dead Tuesday

Larry Scott McQuary, 49, of Union County, was found dead on County Road 14 in New Albany Tuesday. No foul play is suspected, according to Union County sheriff Jimmy Edwards.
