Annette Haynes, mother of Wayne Miller, spoke to her son when he was headed to Memphis. Miller was last seen on February 3.

“He said, ‘Momma, you know you got a birthday coming up. I’m gonna get you something nice for your birthday.’ I just laughed. From there on I haven’t heard from my baby,” she said.

Friday, Panola County Sheriff Shane Phelps briefed the families, assuring family members that his department is following up on every tip.
