Yes, there is a foundation that was formed in honor of Sam and Lindsey, as well as a Search and Recovery organization. You can't help someone that doesn't WANT help though so you just have to sit back and watch this tragedy unfold day by day. As far as something in common, when your two children are missing for three years, the sense of not knowing where your children are and not knowing if they are dead or alive is a lot in common.

We better step away from the conversation since this is for coverage only.

Bless Tina for all she has gone through and how she is trying to help.

Caller: Hello police can you come quick, there is a lady here wanting to help us with our missing baby.

Police: I think we need to talk through your lawyer don't we?

Called LE !!!! :slap: moo

I have come to the conclusion that these folks don't want help finding Lisa, or with their "grief." I don't blame Tina for feeling let down. It must have taken a lot of caring to reach out like that.

It appears unless you go through their attorney, and probably offer M O N E Y, you can't "talk" with the parents. JMOO

Gil Abeyta was able to talk to them.

Snipped from the article and BBM.

Porter was told to speak to an attorney for Irwin and Bradley about her desire to offer assistance. Porter left the home but then went back up to determine which attorney she should contact.

The police were then called. Porter had left the neighborhood by the time officers arrived,...
What the *****?

OMG! Doc I thought you were just being funny until I clicked on the link to the article - they really did call the cops on her! Unbelievable...

Did the family see Tina run straight for the cameras saying "roll the cameras, roll the cameras?" And why did Tina run straight for the camera?

That might have put them off.

I think that the door had already been closed in Tina's face by that time.

Jeremy and deb dont have a phone anymore. The kidnapper took them. moo :seeya:

I bet they spent more time at the phone store than they've spent out looking for LI. JMO

And it appears the cops were called after the door was closed?

What did she say to the camera?

I'm glad they are talking to Abeyta at least.

unpopular opinion alert- if Ms. Porter is going to let loose to the Media when offended, it's probably best that she wasn't let into the inner circle.

I do agree with her that they need to get talking and putting themselves out there. Yes, it sucks to be a prime suspect, but you do what you gotta do- even if it risks you. JMO

Maybe things would have gone differently if Ms. Porter had gone to the door with a box 'o wine in her hand and said "hey, let's sit outside on the stoop and chat".

Just sayin..................................

Just visited the Irwin-Bradley (hideout) with Tina Porter. After she explained who she was a young gentleman stated they aren't available right now and to contact their attorney if we wanted to talk to them. Door shut in face.

Tina walked straight over to FOX 4 and KCTV 5 saying. "roll the cameras, roll the cameras" and really let go. Will post videos whenever they are online. (No, I didn't want to walk up rolling cell phone video as much as I would have liked to)

BBM. I think there's all kinds of wrong with that.

You're telling me.

Cameras are that close and DB isn't in front of one on the daily begging the abductor to bring her baby back?

I'm not sure I understand. Why did Tina do this? (what I bolded) I can see wanting to help, but why get so upset and go in front of cameras to say so? Maybe it was a good thing they didn't say anything. KWIM.

With that said though I do feel Deb and Jeremy have been taken advantage of during the most traumatic time of their lives by people like Joe T, Bill S. and national media. I believe there is some contract they signed that these guys practically own them as in what they say, and who they talk to. Very very sad.

Because she was there to help them in their time of grief and they slammed the door in her face?

I suppose if she were a lawyer, they'd have ushered her in.

IMO

Not at first. He had to jump through the same hoops Tina needs to go through.
