Stating the obvious here but we’re missing one key data point- were they sober on Sunday? Not judging at all, I drink. Just saying alcohol can change how people might typically react. MOO

No wedding or relationship pins.

I have pinterest and I wouldn't even think to pin anything about a relationship or my relationship. I use it for recipes mainly.

It was simply an observation, I've been curious as to whether they had plans to get married.

Her children were with her? Would she run off and leave them?

  • #266
Yes, her kids are not mentioned at all...they lived all together in his mansion? Did kids live with their Dad? Did one of the kids live with Amy? My point is - if kids did not live with her and she knew they were safe and sound with their Dad, she could "disappear" in case of extreme danger, knowing that at least kids are well taken care of...
They were together for 13 years! She knew him very very well. I am sure it wasn't their first argument so she knew what to expect...<modsnip: not a known fact>
Looks like he did something to her , the chances of foul play caused by the opportunist at night winter time are very very slim...

Sorry, they were together for 7 year since 2013.
They were not engaged.

The sheriff said there are multiple persons of interest so Dr. VG is not the only person they are interested in.

Agreed - other than posting some of the cake and decorative items from our Dr. Who Themed wedding on my general Dr. Who board no one would know I was married from my Pinterest.

Totally O/T but I am so incredibly impressed you had a Dr. Who themed wedding.

This is dated today but doesn't contain any new information.

Search continues for missing woman in Great Falls

Silly question but are there "bums" down by the rivers edge? Or people parked doing drugs?

JV is my current Dr. He canceled my appmt with him that I had today, with no explanation, but I of course figured out why.

He is not a very friendly person, he is just very to the point and does not mess around. He is a very good Dr. very detailed.

<ModSnip> I have not found an IG account for her.

I don't think their living arrangements have been mentioned. A poster upthread mentioned she owned a home. For all I know she was just visiting him that day

IMO, this case has all of the signs of being the sad, most likely scenario: woman goes missing.....significant other is responsible.

Was one of them caught cheating? Was one of them trying to end the relationship? There probably was a fight, and she ended up deceased. Whether it was in a fit of rage, or even if he didn't intend to kill her, he now has basically two options:

Option A: Call police. Turn self in. Lose career. Go to prison.

Option B: Attempt to cover up crime.

Most guys choose Option B, because failing at Option B will have the same results as choosing Option A: Lose career. Go to prison.

Fortunately, it is usually not a planned murder/planned cover-up, and most killers will screw up one way or another in a panicked, spur of the moment cover-up attempt.

In the beginning, all LE has to go on is "his story". They don't have much of a choice but to believe it....at first. But his story just seems unlikely.

My gut feeling is that she was long gone by the time he called 911. What is really important is when the last time someone, other than him, saw or spoke to her was. And also if LE can make a determination of when she last used her cell phone.

Or, his story could be 100% true. Who knows? I just think that I am playing the odds here.....

Speculation and MOO

Right now, I am going with true.

Why would he risk his entire career that he worked so hard for just to go to prison?????

CCSO advised that she was last seen leaving her residence. Has that changed? I do understand that she is not the homeowner but it sounds like she lives there to me. MOO

In truth, I doubt he is enjoying being in the public eye this much, as well. <modsnip: not a known fact> if he had done something, why would he call the police at all given that the call is what caused the search?

My understanding is that they shared the home, it was in his name, and she lived there. I believe it was her primary residence based upon the news releases linked on the thread.

Thank you. That's my understanding as well. I just wanted to be sure I didn't miss anything. Often times, first reports are sketchy.

Welcome to Websleuths, btw! Glad to have you with us. MOO

It doesn't make a lot of sense does it???

10 minutes is not a lot of time to commit a crime and call 911 and have police show up.

I think something happened to her and not by him.
