Has any of Amy's family, friend(s), or the BF made a plea for her to return home, or this a search and rescue mission? TIA

No public pleas from her family and/or friends. MOO

Oddly enough, there has been hardly a peep about this situation on local news. It was mentioned for a few days, now, radio silence.

I have been following since the beginning but can't remember, did any neighbours report hearing anything like a disturbance that night?

It was quoted by MSM that a lady heard her dogs barking that night when they normally would not.

None of them have

The approximate distance to the nearest neighbor dwellings is:
West = 250 ft
East = 200 ft
North = 1850 ft
South = 3380 ft
The average distance between residential dwellings in most western cities is 15-20 feet. These homes are very well built, with thick walls, super insulation, and thermal barrier windows. On a January night when it's in the low 30 degree range, I cannot anyone being outside. I see the chances of a neighbor hearing a noisy fight in the bottom portion of the range..... somewhere between "slim" and "no chance at all" IMO

I watched the presser again & didn't get a sense of a timeline. Only mentioned what resources were brought in but not how soon after she went missing. I believe the search was thorough & would have found her if she was not in the river. I need a timeline to understand if the search could have prevented her from going in the river.

LE said they arrived to the house in 10 minutes. They didn’t say exactly when they started searching but based on the distance to the river, I don’t see how the search could’ve prevented her from going into the river, even if they started searching the minute they arrived. She would’ve had at least 10 minute head start. If we’re going with the story given. Like others, I’d like to know when she was seen by anyone else. MOO

If we are going with the given story, these are my thoughts. I feel that maybe when he picked up the phone to call 911, that is the moment she ran out the door. I had an abusive ex, and when I said I was calling 911, he jumped a fence and was gone. Police responded within minutes, no luck finding him until months later. People can get far in the space of a few minutes....JMO

Yeah, if that's what happened, I don't see her sticking around for the 911 call.

Here’s the link and reference to the statement I mentioned up thread regarding the narrowed search area:

“Slaughter also said that they have narrowed down and confirmed some leads they had in the investigation, adding they are purposely not telling the public certain information because they want to keep it for themselves in case the investigation becomes a criminal investigation.“

CCSO Detectives and Search and Rescue continue search for Amy Harding

I have searched everywhere and have not found an interview or comments from family, friends, or boyfriend! This is the weirdest! Why so, so quiet??? Usually there’s at least Mom begging for answers, etc.

Hopefully there will be news soon.

JMO I agree that it’s very weird.

LE arrived 10 minutes after the call.

Correct me if I'm wrong, we don't know when the "assault" happened. I think we're assuming it occurred just before the call. It could have been hours before.

Again, I haven't kept up, but I don't remember hearing any timetable of when the assault took place.

But it's a pretty important detail.

If someone is making a phone call, you would have ample opportunity to grab your phone and keys. There would be no need to run wildly out the door. The person who called is significantly stronger and bigger than Amy. Police have released no information regarding the man's injuries. And we have no information about Amy possibly having a weapon with her or anything of that nature.

I love your description! Actually, the house in the picture is four doors down. The search is going on in the main channel, and the train the the background is across Flood road from the front property line of the houses. Everything IS bigger in Montana, though. IMO
Here is a Google Earth overhead view to help- locate things:

What direction does the small arm of the river by her boyfriend's house flow? How far is it to the wider river part? ty

In the overhead picture, it flows from west to east. The part that is circled to mark the latest search is the main part of the river. If she walked that narrow path of grass along the river's bank, from the point she first struck the bank on her BF's property to walking beside the main channel is about 1300 ft. The distance to being next to the deepest, fastest current of the Missouri would be another 450 ft beyond. Walking at a brisk pace, she could have been there in six minutes. IMO

I cannot see her walking to the river unless she did want to off herself. I can see her walking to the road.
I just watched a movie "Wind River" and the beginning of it gave me the chills. Girl running out in the cold for her life. I am not saying that is what happened to Amy. It just brought her up in my memory again.

Sadly if no one was at the house at the time of the "assault" there is no one to say yes or no
to the timeline given.

Now I am going to argue with myself. There had to have been footprints in the snow to cover JV's story, right? And if something happened to her, there should have been tracks from that too!

Was there fresh snow?

Otherwise footprints might not be present or meaningful if they were there.
