Officials say they developed a suspect and then found the bodies they believe to be Beverly and Greg.

The suspect is in custody on a parole violation from an offense in another county.

Officials say the bodies were found in a wooded area in the foothills on private land.

Oh No....I mean we all knew this was likely, but this one hits me hard....RIP Beverly and Greg..... I had so hoped for a miracle.... I hope they have people that will take their dogs... I feel so bad for them too, they are also victims here.... So very sad.... IMHO

So very sorry to see this. These cases involving older folks just break my heart. To work your whole life only to have some come along and murder you because they want what you have just seems doubly unfair.

The article also mentions two dump sites in a heavily wooded area - one with evidence of the crimes, and the other containing the bodies. POI Prior record to include assault, burglary, and robbery. Poor people. RIP

After reading this, I wish he had been forced to serve the entire twenty years, he would not have been out yet....I can imagine what they went through.... IMHO
