The Missoula County Sheriff's Office reports that deputies were notified that a body had been found in a field near the Smurfit-Stone Mill near Frenchtown at around 8:30 p.m.

The Sheriff's Office reports that since it appears the body had been exposed to the elements for quite a while we may not have information of the person's gender and identity for several weeks.

Names released of two bodies recently discovered in Missoula

In a separate incident, the remains of Jeremiah Colin Spotted Blanket, 34, of St. Ignatius, were found in a field near Pulp Mill Road and Mullan Road in the Frenchtown area.

A cause and manner of death hasn't been determined for either man, and currently no evidence connects their deaths.

Now to see if there are threads for either of them. Interesting that they don’t believe the two crimes were related.

Missoula County Sheriff TJ McDermott says Robert Louis Foshag, 59, of Missoula, was found in an irrigation ditch off South Fourth St. West and Catlin.
