Billings man pleads guilty to kidnapping, killing

A Billings man charged with kidnapping an Illinois man and his girlfriend from a motel, robbing them and killing the man has reached a plea agreement that calls for him to spend the rest of his life in prison.
Simon Elliott Jacobson, 28, pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated kidnapping and deliberate homicide for the Jan. 17 death of Dejuan Laster of Rockford, Ill.

James Adam Walker has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for his role in a 2013 homicide and kidnapping.

District Judge G. Todd Baugh handed down the sentence Wednesday to Walker, 34, who pleaded guilty in August to deliberate homicide by accountability for his role in the murder of 29-year-old DeJuan Laster...

In January, District Judge Gregory R. Todd sentenced Jacobson to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
