According to Lewis and Clark County Sheriff/Coroner Leo Dutton, the body of Meghan Rouns was recovered from the Missouri River.

I'm crying. We all knew that this was going to be the likely outcome, but we always hold out hope.
Rest in peace Meghan. I didn't know you but you seemed like a lovely young woman with an incredible love of horses.

RIP baby girl. I know the love a girl...woman has for their horse and I am so sorry she lost her life doing something she loved with a much loved companion. It's heartbreaking as she had such a short time here.
