Monte Swanson left Missoula at the end of July 2014. He was located in Shreveport, LA in September 2014 and contacted his family but no one has seen or heard from him since that time. He was possibly heading to Maine or Mississippi but there has been no contact and it’s unclear his last known location. He is known to frequent transient/homeless camps.

Police, Father Search for Missing Missoula Man

Missoula police help family members search for Monte Swanson, 24, a missing Missoula man who is known to hang out at transient camps.

Police clarify that Swanson is not a suspect in Berry's death.
