She was riding in a combine with her father while harvesting beans, and somehow got out and was run over. Reading between the lines, I'm wondering if this WAS an accident, KWIM? The associated fundraisers are saying the money will go to "funeral and legal expenses." I don't know if the parents were still together when this happened on October 10th.

Is there anyone in the area who knows more?

I mean, this is basically how I lost a cousin, except the horse power was actual horses. She came home from school and climbed up to show my uncle her grades.

It appears that the parents were never married, and she was in primary custody of her father because her mother had serious substance abuse issues.
