Presumed Located MT - Nefataree Bartell, 26, Missoula, 6 March 2023

  • #21
Police said the individual who spoke with her on that day has been interviewed by detectives.

A search and rescue operation has been activated in the Gold Creek area, according to police.

Bartell's mother said her daughter is 7 months pregnant and has two sons.

Is there a significant other in her life? Someone excited to be a Dad and will co-parent with Neffy?

I want to know if Nefataree's pregnancy is related to her going missing?

Where are you Nafateree Bartell?
Wish we had more info… last seen leaving in a car? Does she have her cellphone, keys with her?

Anyone with further information is asked to contact Det. Jeff Lloyd with the Missoula Police Department, (406) 552-6285.

Doesn't seem to be a lot going on in this area unless she knows someone who lives nearby?

That's about 17 miles from town, so no way she walked there, even if not pregnant. I presume rideshares have all been checked in this university town. Could she, short on funds, have hitchhiked there for whatever reason? Did she have to do the same going back, and someone with bad intentions took her to parts unknown against her will?

WHO is the person who last saw her in that area? Why aren't they releasing more details in order to engage the public?

MY OPINION ONLY ***** I AM NOT AN EXPERT ***** NOT INTENDED AS PROFESSIONAL ADVICE ***** FOLLOW AT YOUR OWN RISK

ANYONE (including those who have never met her and/or claim to have 'insider' knowledge) who is interested in this case may benefit from viewing the case of Rebekah Barsotti (also happened in Missoula and Mineral Counties, MT) as posted here on WS threads.

Because the 'they' in that area do not release 'more details.'

(Based upon my WS experience with other cases there.)

Can you please explain how these two cases may be related?

Imo, I can't see a connection, though others may see there being a connection.

Few buildings on Gold Creek Road might have cameras that saw something

After just a very brief look over the other case, I'm not seeing any connection outside of being the same general area of I-90 in west Montana. In this case, the missing woman is from Missoula and last spotted east of Missoula.

In the other case, she went missing from Superior (which is roughly an hour west of Missoula), car found near Alberton (which is about half way between Superior and Missoula) and she herself was found closer to Superior. I'm somewhat familiar with the area as I have a friend who lives in Alberton and have been there several times, and love the area.

If there is any other possible connection I'm not seeing it.

The poster may be pointing to LE in the area, IMO.

ETA: I had only skimmed MSM, and not the thread here. I've since skimmed the thread and understand what you're saying.

MAY be handled by the same local LE (may provide clues as to how local LE looks at MP vs. criminal cases) and prepare one for what to expect from them;

MAY offer thoughts for those well-wishers based on what happened in prior case (who can be helpful vs. waste of time, etc.);

MAY even involve some of the same people/suspects, etc.
