Case History
Dental restorations found by campers

I am not sure what the final line means but perhaps it’s just poor grammar, should it read “Dental restorations. Found by campers”? Or did campers actually just find tooth fillings or some other kind of “restoration”?

No news that I can find.

What a strange case. I wonder if "dental restorations" mean gold fillings, crowns, or a dental bridge? If that's the case, and nothing else was found, they might not even belong to a deceased person. Maybe a skier fell down on the piste and took home an expensive souvenir. :p It'd be good to know what teeth it consisted of as well.

What kind of dental restorations could be found that would lead investigators to think someone might be deceased? Dental implants?
Or perhaps people found something, turned it in, and LE decided to search the area and found some actual bones?

I don't think this one will ever be solved. :(

I think they found a skull/partial skull/jawbone and it had dental restorations, and the description is just written in a confusing way.

Probably.
However I just saw a tooth added to NamUs (UP65362), and I thought to myself, wow, they are being really thorough. I assume adding anything they think could possibly belong to a victim?
JMO/IMO.
