Justin Dubail spoke with ASAC Rhys Williams, who runs the criminal branch at the Salt Lake FBI Division, to learn more about their investigative process. Williams explained the FBI's steps in missing persons cases, especially when searches extend over time.

One of the cases the FBI is working on is the disappearance of Sa'wade Birdinground, missing from the Crow Reservation for over three months. Williams said the BAU and CARD were involved early in this case, emphasizing that it remains open and active. Due to the rural location, the FBI relies heavily on community assistance for information.
