Found Safe MT - Tabitha Gopher aka Tabitha Standing Cloud, 21, Billings, Sep 2019 *may be held against her will

The following information was sent out by the Montana Department of Justice.

A Missing Endangered Person Advisory has been issued for Tabitha Gopher, she is also identified as Tabitha Standing Cloud.

Gopher is a 21-year-old American Indian woman, she is 5 feet tall, weighs 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Gopher was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the white letters obey on the front.

She is believed to be endangered and may be held against her will.

The last contact with Gopher was in Billings.

I am concerned with this young lady's disappearance...

NOT pointing fingers at ANYONE...

But it seems like there are limitations on resources when trying to find missing Native Americans on reservations in general...

I have observed that the families of the victims are often responsible for much of the searching...

UPDATE: Tabitha Gopher was found safe Wednesday evening.

The Montana Department of Justice canceled a Missing Endangered Person Advisory for the 21-year-old woman Wednesday.
