Mystery Man Surveillance

You should also make sure to walk with lots of style, like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, Stayin' Alive. That's right, swing those arms!

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh: John Travolta was probably walking that way due to the extremely tight pants he was wearing!

That's how I see things, too. I have a feeling that if this were an abduction, this man was 'off' mentally and when he went out walking that night, he didn't intend on taking a baby but once he got into the house and saw the baby, he decided to. That's the reason he didn't 'dress for the occasion'. Plus, with all this talk about a man walking with a baby and this video of a man walking at that hour at night in white --- if this is all innocent, WHY isn't someone coming forward to say, "Hey, that was me in the video after my car got a flat tire down the road" or "Hey that was me walking with my baby that night because we couldn't get her to sleep and you can come check and see that she is not Lisa Irwin and that our baby is fine."

I hadn't thought of that, the person coming forward. It does make good sense!! I still have hope Baby Lisa is out there somewhere....

The Fashion Violater (white after Labor Day) probably doesn't know we are looking for him. The man with the baby: I thought I read somewhere that police had checked this out and said it was not connected. Sorry, I don't have a link but maybe someone else remembers too.

I do have to admit that I think it's horrible that DB got drunk while supposedly watching her kids and their behavior doesn't appear to be quite normal, but doesn't anyone put any belief in the two witnesses that said they saw a man with a baby with only a diaper on the same evening!! To me that's huge!! Until this is cleared up I cannot blame Lisa's parents. There have been a lot of cases where perps have snuck in without a sound. Especially with DB being out of it!! Anyone????

It would be huge to me IF the two reports had been made at the same time, but because, as far as I know, the second report was made after the first report of the guy carrying the nearly naked baby had been splashed on all the local news channels, it's not that groundbreaking to me.

Can I say that there was no guy carrying a mostly naked baby that night? No. It could be true. I hope it isn't, because I have hope that if one of the parents is behind it, that Lisa is not dead. If a stranger was involved, her chances go way down, in my eyes. But with the second report coming out as late as it did, I can hardly be impressed.

Yes, the motorcycle guy waited "about a week" before contacting police. By that time the neighbor lady was already on TV talking about seeing a man with a near naked baby.

On the other hand....alot of people don't want to get involved and will never say anything.

I find these eye witness stories extraordinary... why would anyone "make up" that the guy only had a white t-shirt on.... why not a coat?

And then the gas station video... white...

there is something to it....

The neighbor lady described the man as wearing dark pants. Not all in white.
So that certainly doesn't fit.

I came to a different idea tonight while watching some of the coverage of the "mystery" man on TV. Please forgive me if someone else has posted this idea first as I am way behind in reading posts. I think they had planned all the events of the night beforehand. The father disposed of the baby on his way to work or the day before. The mother has the neighbor over for supper and drinks as an alibi. She uses being drunk as a way out of why she didn't wake up when someone came in the house and stole the baby. They get either her brother or some other close family member who is male to walk around that night carrying a doll so that there would be at least ONE witness who say a man with a baby. That way they would never be accused of the crime when there were witnesses. They had the man walk around for quite a while just to make sure there was more than one witness. They were very smart as it seems all the press has bought it. It sounds like a perfect movie plot. The man walking around with the doll wore a white shirt to be noticed easier. It all makes sense that way. Why else would he be sighted in several areas over a span of hours? And be so noticable? I think the baby will never be found and they will never cooperate any more with the police.

I want to add that I think the baby died from abuse and that is why they cannot take the chance trying to say it was an accident.

I'm thinking, DB herself said she failed the poly question - "Do you know where Lisa is?". Cadaver dogs had a positive hit in the house. I guess someone could've been walking around with a dead baby to find a place to hide it, but I can't believe a total stranger took Lisa.
I think it is very possible she was abducted. I just dont think it was a total stranger.

This is very plausible... There is so little info out there.....

Just to put this out there. The bar that "Jersey" was kicked out of (One Eyed Jacks) is directly behind the gas station in the surveillance video. I think the person walking is someone going to the bar. All bars in Missouri are open until 3am, I believe. IMO

I remember when I was in school (grammar school I think) some lady came into the class to speak about crime or something like that. In the middle of her speech a person came running in through the door, had something in their hand, shouted something loud and then ran out. We all sat there shocked! Turns out it was a setup and we were all asked to describe the person, what they were wearing, what was in their hand and what they shouted. Wow! Some of the responses were hilariously wrong. Some said woman some said man. Some said she had a gun, or a baseball bat , etc... And everyone thought the person said a different thing. It was a great lesson that I have always remembered. I now pay a lot more attention to detail when crazy stuff happens but also realize that eyewitness testimony is not always that realiable

I was just thinking that. I've seen tests done on t.v. about eyewitnesses. Same thing. No two people had the same memory of what they saw. Here's an example of one of those tests. You can take the test with the students featured: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6fRH5MLBIU&feature=related"]The Eyewitness Test: How do you stack up? - YouTube[/ame]

BTW, is there video of the guy coming from the woods? I can't find it.

I had the same experience in either late elementary school or middle school.
Great lesson that's stayed with me for many years..eyewitnesses are unreliable.

Wasn't the "neighbor lady" describing what her husband told her, not what she saw for herself? Didn't he refuse to be on camera so she spoke "for" him? Then, the motorcycle guy spoke much later, week or so? Now we have this gas station BLOB?

I might be mistaken, but something is really fishy about the timing of all these alleged "sightings" of persons wearing white, within a four mile radius. Somehow, it seems as if it's always following devastating news regarding the mother, the drinking, the "hit" in the house etc.. JMO

This is not always true. I have always trained my empolyees in the event of a hold-up. Knock on wood it didn't happen for 23 years and then in January someone walked in with a sawed off shot-gun and demanded money. I have always told them in the event of a hold-up to just give them anything they wanted....here is what happened:

1. Cashier was a young girl (22). It was about 9:30pm so I had one of my stock people (19) wandering around up front.

2. The kid came in shoved the gun in my cashiers face. She was so scared she couldn't get the draw open so she yelled to my stock person to help her

3. My stock person heard the panic in her voice and he jumped over the counter and started chasing the guy.

4. My manager (33) heard everything and he came over and the 2 of them chased the guy out of the store and up the parking lot.

5. The was another employee (17) at the counter at the time and he just backed away.

All 4 of these employees described what the guy was wearing, what he said and what the gun looked like. They went to court last month because he lawyer was trying to get the identification thrown out for the reasons you stated above. He said that there was no way 4 people could identify this guy the same way. The judge read all witness statements and he ruled against him. In his ruling he wrote that he had never seen 4 people who were interviewed seperate be so accurate and that there was no way that his client was not the perp. The story ends that the guy is taking a plea....

BTW watching the film after the event all I have to say is that I never ever want to be in that position...just watching it I got chills

There is no evidence whatsoever of abuse in that home. They both got custody of children from former relationships. There are no records that I have seen where CPS was called to the home. There have been no witnesses coming forward to say the children were abused. Lisa looks like a happy and well loved baby in all the pictures and videos I've seen. There is nothing to suggest they're drug addicts or have a checkered past with LE.

Yes, mom allegedly got drunk. If true, it was totally stupid, irresponsible and I'm sure if Lisa was truly abducted, she will have to live with that guilt for the rest of her life and she may also risk losing custody of her other child because of it.

Some people think she made up the black out. It seems people will judge and accuse her regardless of whether she's telling the truth or not.

Black out = bad mom

No black out = defense strategy

Right now, she is innocent. She is a victim and should be treated as such, imo.

What if the cops are wrong? Hailey Dunn's family were put through the wringer but guess what? Months later her case is listed as a "kidnapping". Check this out. The media is reporting FBI mis classified it as a kidnapping BUT the FBI site shows it as a kidnapping.

http://www.kcbd.com/story/15706846/dunn-case-not-listed-as-kidnapping-after-all

http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/kidnap/hailey-dunn

I think I'll wait for real evidence in this case that the parents are involved. Lisa deserves that much.
